I settled on a 2005 Rocky Mountain after fiercly shopping the competition in the 2005-2006 SUV and small truck classes. I was hesitant to purchase another Jeep as this would be my 5th in a row and put this vehicle off until last on my list. I compared to the Toyota 4-runner and H3 primarily as I viewed these vehicles as the ones I liked for whatever reason the most after test driving and researching them. The Toy was too small (as I am 6'4) and my head hit the sunroof and it became immediately eliminated and the H3 was too much money (plus the public GM problems) to feed it. I did not know about the Rcky Mtn edition and had not noticed one before my purchase, WOW what a great bunch of options for VERY little money. I have only had this Jeep for a 1,000 miles now and I absolutely love it! MOPAR definitely benefitted from German engineering! This vehicle is 10 times the truck my last 4 Jeeps were combined. I would reccomend you see for yourself... Only 9500 of these worldwide though...
