I am a proud owner of the 2007 Jeep srt8 with its cheap dash and irrisistable urge to stop at each gas station; I still get compliments on its styling (which the lower models never get) with its semi luxurious seating, center exhaust, intimidating front fascia, cornering ability, corvette beating ability (yes I have done it quite often) and ride quality, to this day I still cant find another vehicle that makes me smile everytime I look at it and drive it. Enough of the older, the newer version has ultimately stepped up the anti with a much improved interior, technology, MDS setup, drive-train upgrades and towing compatibility which were major faults of the previous generation GCSRT8. Now for the cons "BUTT UGLY" & "INDISTINCT" exterior styling and heavier with the ancient 5 speed transmision with its souless character. Conclusion: Nobody wants a vehicle that will never receive a compliment, the "love it or hate it" aspect is ok, but lower models should not be receiving more compliments of any vehicular brand/model. Simply put, it takes a trained eye to see the difference between models - previously you automatically knew what was coming at you (unfortunately, thats the issue with the styling team for these models - fire them please and rehire AMG for assistance or FAB tuning). SRT lost badly with exterior styling hence the sales loss this year. BTW all the models are affected by this so called subtle approach. You dont call a Lion like a house cat!...read morehide

Only have 2k miles on mine, but it is a great transition from my 2010 Carrera 4S I sold because I needed more room. The performance is great and I don't feel like I've compromised for the extra space!

- Looks and seats

60 large should get you one of the best Jeeps ever. The choice of transmissions the engineers made had to have been because it was cheaper. I hope someone comes up with a fix but with all the electronics that's doubtful. Ruins the entire driving experience of this thing. Near no low end power, unless you jump on it, makes it hard to drive in town in traffic. Big, big motor and high power rating, who cares about mileage? A more modern six speed transmission would fix most of these issues.Other issues, electronics, keyless entry erratic, squealing brakes and did I mention the really crappy transmission? I feel so SCREWED....read morehide
