Excellent value, low priced 4X4 that serves great. Not great mileage but acceptable. Decent ride and lots of space.

- Pros

- Cons
- gear shift is in awkward position, so-so fuel economy

i just got my brand new jeep about 2 months ago and i am absolutely in LOVE with it. It rides, well, like a JEEP does. Kind of rough but when you buy it, you should expect that. It does have a slow acceleration but once you get going, your going for a long time. I love the way it steers, it's not very sensitive but not too tough, over all, I LOVE this car!...read morehide

- Pros
- Off road capability... not that you'd ever use it
- Cons
- Terrible ride, terrible fuel economy, terrible rear seat
Purchased As Not Purchased
I rode in the back seat of one the other day. I was bounced around on every bump. The rear seat was tiny, and I am 5'7", 150 lbs. If you went off road with this thing, passengers would all get whiplash, or concussions from their heads hitting the inside of the car. And 15/22 mpg?
Granted, I don't know what it's like to drive this thing, but if you ever take any passengers, don't buy this car....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Very comfortable, great ride & will be great in bad weather
- Cons
- Slow acceleration and poor fuel economy
Purchased As New
I knew ahead of time that the fuel economy wouldn't be the greatest but I am very satisfied with my overall purchase. The Liberty was priced to sell with over $5K in incentives and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I bought the Limited 70th Anniversay Edition and am in love with all the bells and whistles (including the nicer wheels). I just wish it had a gas cap lock....read morehide

- Pros
- Great Look, Exceptional Interior Components
- Cons
- Sensitive handling
Purchased As New
I bought the 70th Anniversary Sport 4X2 and have zero regrets. Most of the complaints on gas mileage are from 4X4 purchases so if you dont need it, opt for the 4X2. Gas mileage so far is typical of a V-6 SUV; around 26 on the highway with cruise set. Also, it is a little slow from a dead stop but efficient none the less. If you don't plan on racing your Jeep then realistically you won't notice that it doesn't "jump off the line". Handling is a little sensitive but I got used to it very quickly. You will definately turn heads with this vehicle and your friends will be envious. I pull my Jet-ski with no problems at all. The touch screen interface is awesome once you learn to manage it. If you do your research you can get a great deal. Mine brand new was a little over $19000 out the door. Jeep is offering a $3500 rebate, dealer discounts, and a $500 military discount....read morehide

- Pros
- Classic Jeep styling, standard features, saddle brown leather
- Cons
- Fuel economy (to be expected though)
Purchased As New
Test drove lots of SUVs/crossovers and couldn't pass this one by. Wanted to downsize from my Hemi Durango, but didn't want to go too small. Very comfortable, smooth ride, perfect size. Saddle brown leather is very upscale and touch screen infotainment system w/voice activation is great. I get lots of compliments. I actually like driving this better than my RX (feels more sturdy). Some reviewers complain about the plastic (maybe more of an issue in base model), but the only hard plastic in mine is on the dash and since I don't drive around holding onto the dash, I don't care. Looks good and everywhere my hand/arm lands feels good....read morehide
