Purchased As New
I bought the 70th Anniversary Sport 4X2 and have zero regrets. Most of the complaints on gas mileage are from 4X4 purchases so if you dont need it, opt for the 4X2. Gas mileage so far is typical of a V-6 SUV; around 26 on the highway with cruise set. Also, it is a little slow from a dead stop but efficient none the less. If you don't plan on racing your Jeep then realistically you won't notice that it doesn't "jump off the line". Handling is a little sensitive but I got used to it very quickly. You will definately turn heads with this vehicle and your friends will be envious. I pull my Jet-ski with no problems at all. The touch screen interface is awesome once you learn to manage it. If you do your research you can get a great deal. Mine brand new was a little over $19000 out the door. Jeep is offering a $3500 rebate, dealer discounts, and a $500 military discount.
