I have now owned this vehicle for 1 week, so i have not got a chance to try everything out. I purchased the limited modell with all extras and I think it was worth every penny. Though I have not been able to try out the 4 wheel drive system as of yet, the vehicle handles very well on the street. It feels very good in the curvs and takes bumps well. Everything about the ride is very solid and feels good at speeds above 80mph on the Autobahn. Im averaging about 16mpg on my first tank of gas but I think it will get better over time. The sky slider roof is very nice and was a great addition. The upgraded Sound system is Infanity with 8in sub whoofers, which i think was a bit more than i needed but it sounds awsome. The U connect feature takes a while to get use to but works great when you figure it out. Spare tire is easy to access. The excess chrome also looks very nice. i could go on and on about this vehicle, overall a great buy. Buyer beware do not buy this vehicle is you want a gas saver, thats not what the Liberty and Grand Cherokee are about but if you want a jeep that lives up to its name by all means get one....read morehide

This is a great suv for the money. Ride is great and handles like a dream. The gas milage needs to be better. Traded in a 2007 dodge nitro.....basically the same car. better features.

This is the only vehicle in this class with any real offroad or towing capapbility!! We test drove and checked them all out and this was the only one to fit our needs.
We just traded our 2008 Liberty for a 2012 only because we got the 2012 for $23,700. 4x4, towing package, power everything and sunroof. Unbeatable price!!!!! In 2008 we paid $27,800 for almost the exact same vehicle only the new one has a sunroof. It lowered our payment by $50.
Great for offroad use, snow, gravel roads. Really great for towing a small trailer for home landscaping, etc......read morehide

It's a Jeep. My 3rd one. I knew what I was getting but the only issue I have is it seems if you are on the road, hit a non-diaginal line, it can't decide which way it will bounch. It will almost get away from you. it's not a SUV, it's a Jeep. I have added skid plates, rockrails and bigger tires. MPG is now 15 city/22 hwy. Was 27 hwy, 18 city. So, if you trick it out, be ready. However, at 61k, not issues, strong runner and goes anywhere and tows a big load. No CRV/RAV or Pilot can say the same. I have an 02 limited, leased an 04 (39mo) and got the 09 new. Don't buy and then complain about gas milage....its on the window sticker. Not great but could be worse. Love the ride and seat are very supportive. The engine has power when you need it. Remember your buying a Jeep. Also, the incentives are great.

Gas mileage isn't great, I knew that going in for the purchase. But who buys a Jeep for the gas mileage savings? No ONE! With that said, I like every aspect of the car! Apparently Chrysler - Fiat hasn't been able to ramp up production of the new 3.6 V-6, so it can be installed in the full line of Jeep V-6 vehicles. The old 3.7 is a lower horsepower, gas guzzler and makes the 2012 Liberty a "no buy", no matter how heavily they discount it. Interior needs a manor re-do also....read morehide

This car can keep up with the Wranger off road. I Found that out first hand last weekend. The interior is nice and has a rugged feel. Great camping or everyday vehicle. I would recommend this car to anyone who likes to get outside for a long weekend here and there.
