- Looks Cool - good off-road perf
- Ignition / Electrical Demons; poor performance + Fuel econ
Purchased As Used
SAD - Just a poor vehicle overall. Wheezer in performance, barely able to keep up freeway speeds, has to downshift on any grade; Rain water leaks right into floorboards - no rain gutters. Our second PCM just failed - renders the vehicle undriveable. Covered under emissions warranty, but no explanation of failure.Vehicle out of service for 10 days awaiting part. Dealer unable to diagnose failure root cause, so they insist THIS computer failed due to coil short -so I get $250 bill. No idea what caused first one to fail - even better - coil packs available aftermarket for $50. Don't buy Jeep....read morehide

- Its the best jeep yet. (my 6th) All the good stuff yet still a Jeep.
- mileage should be better from facory.
I did minor modifications for mileage-high flow intake, gibson exhaust. mileage now averages 18-19 with much more power.
One inch body lift and custom brackets for towing behind motorhome, great tow vehicle.
Love the three piece hard top. Great sound system too!
After 40 years of Jeeps this is definetly the best and I don't need to spend a fortune on modifications.
Great off road and yet 70 on the freeway....read morehide

- Rides comfortable for what it is, is the BEST in bad weather, snow/mud/rain
- slow acceleration, slow braking, rear seat in 2 door nearly impossible to get to
The versatility of the vehicle is what I appreciate most about it. The gas mileage although not great, is better thant he 05 yukon I traded for. Highway best is 23, around town I get 15. Great stereo, nice bucket seats with excellent durable cloth, lifetime powertrain AS LONG AS CHRYSLER does not go bankrupt anytime soon. The jeep turns on a dime, rides down the highway nice enough, and the 3 piece hard top is sweet, although there is a noticable bit of wind noise when the top is on and the windows are rolled up.
A minivan could beat the jeep 0-60, but during the winter when cars are slipping and sliding i'll be running over mountains of snow. I hope this helps!...read morehide

- Fun to drive. Good stereo. Big tires. No rattles
- Underpowered. Poor seat adjustment. Poor front window de-ice, defrost.
Gap between front fenders and lower panels allows dirt and road spray to be thrown all over the door handles and side of the vehicle. Need to be able to lock all 4 wheels in 4HI and well as 4LO. Shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear is not real smooth...requires careful shifting.
Hood flexes a lot in high winds, becomes unstable in high winds at interstate speeds....read morehide

- Rear seat access, Fuel, No rear door inside lock,
Love my Rubicon 2 door. I owned a 2007 4 door Sahara but always got it stuck. It's 6 speed standard does noe even come close to the automatic. Would like to see GPS as standard eq. Like to see less hassle with the soft top removal.

- Great ride, stereo system, easy to maneuver, easy access to back seat with a four door
- fuel economy
I have had nothing but great comments by people on my Rubicon. I purchased my 2007 Rubicon on April of '07 and have been so satisfied with it. I just can't beleive the interest that people have when I pull up or walk to my Rubicon. This is the first time I have owned a Wrangler and have nothing but satisfaction from it. My wife and daughter's love it when I take the top off. Talk about getting more stares! Go Jeep!...read morehide

- gas could be better but its an suv, gps would be nice as a standard option
- good get up and go and good goin threw any kind of weather little bumpy buts its expected
like the jeep all together and all around i think its a very fun thing to own, only other thing i could think of is to make the top come off automatically instead of manually and to make nav standard would be great instead of worrin about addin it on b/c ive noticed that most dealers dont have it on it , the gas could be better but for an suv i dont think its that bad especially if u baby it and the digital gas monitor is nice to keep up with fuel, only thing is here lately i cant wait to take the jeep to the beach but what more can u want a suv that fun at the beach and the mountains......read morehide
