I've noticed that after 7000km the transmission starts to clunck and car shudders when i put the car into Drive gear,also sometimes in Park gear when I go to start the car the dash gear light display is not lit up and is just blank so i have to turn car off to reset it then start it again. It shows park gear on dash after that. This car is under warranty and has been in for this problem about two weeks ago , they reset the computer in the car. The problem was gone for about two weeks and now the problem is back. The paint is really thin on these cars so it would be advised to use a car polish or wax to protect the paint. The paint scratches very easily. No other severe problems....read morehide

This 2012 Forte EX hatchback has been terrific, no issues or problems, fun to drive, good looking car, roomy and efficient on gas. I has "solar glass" that blocks UV light and keeps the interir cooler, yet is not dark tinted...I like it! We just took a 700 mile trip, and gas mileage was great, and we were both comfortable for long periods of time on the road.

The bluetooth phone hands free feature is really handy, the Air Conditioning didn't even have to be on high to keep us cold in the California deserts....read morehide

After researching many various cars, I decided that for the value, I was likely going to get the most for my money out of one of these little cars. I found that in comparison to most small sedans, that these seats are more comfortable for me as a bigger person. This car will basically pay for itself as it's going to reduce my fuel costs nearly $250/month. Driving to work on the road 60miles each way, I'm averaging nearly 40mpg while driving around 70mph the whole way....read morehide

We bought a 2012 Forte Koup ex. We've driven about 6,000 miles and absolutely love this car. It exceeds all of our expectations for a car of this price. I'm 6'2" and fit extremely comfortably. I'm thinking about getting the SX sedan for myself.

Overall, this car is a great value and provides a solid and fun small sedan. It is loaded with features for a typical car at this level. Performance is typical for a car at this level, but it is fun to drive.

We bought a 2011 KIA Sorento SX new in 2011, loved it and bought our 2nd KIA..this EX Forte 5 door automatic this year.

Both KIA's have been completely reliable and very well made.

The Forte came loaded with a lot of standard extras...and optional alloy wheels and fog lights were included and you should get them both. Makes the car look terrific!...read morehide
