This is an excellent buy no matter how you gauge it. It is NOT a BMW. So far this car has exceeded all of my families expectations. Lack of power locks and power windows is no big deal, they can be added. Rear seat leg room is OK but not great. Sound system is excellent. Instrumentation is very well laid out. I have had this car for 3 months and love it. Ride quality and comfort are comparable to a larger car. The amount of features for the price is ridiculous: Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, power everything, ABS, traction control, hill assist the list goes on. Good power for the class and get up to 38 MPG on freeway. Road noise can be intrusive on rougher roads but not intolerable. Braking is excellent as is the traction control. Ice cold air but the system is a little on the noisy side. The 6 speaker stereo is pretty good for stock but not happy with the satellite radio sound quality. Sounds like a very low bit audio stream, not 'hifi' quality. I have seen this issue on other cars so I don't think it the Forte's fault, just bad satellite sound due to excessive compression. Overall I would recommend the Forte for anyone looking for a high quality car with great MPG and fantastic warranty!...read morehide

I bought this car to drive back and forth to work, hoping that if I got the 36mpg, it'd pay for itself, I've avg'd nearly 40mpg driving 70mph!!! Comfortable seats, even for larger people, decent leg room, and the 6-speed automatic transmission shifts so smoothly you hardly notice it's shifted. I rented one and drove it quite a bit. Roomy for a small car, nice firm but supple suspension, nice interior and features. Fun to drive, quick and nimble. Only a three day rental, but I really enjoyed this car.

The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to unlock the door by hand in roll down windows by hands but other then that I love my Kia....anyone know how to unlock the doors with the key I have a basic Kia forte lx I read it in my book it say turn one time then turn twice in it should open all the other doors but it's not working!...read morehide
