Purchased As New
I bought this new off the lot at Moritz Kia in Hurst, TX after looking at comparably equipped Acuras and Toyotas. Despite the best efforts of the sales management staff to #$%$ me off and cause me to cancel the deal at the 11th hour, I'm not sorry I bought it -- just sorry WHERE I bought it. This car is as good (or better in the case of the Camry) for less money. It's not a Mercedes by any means, but it also costs about half as much. For the money, it has a lot of upscale options, but little things like a can of "Slime," instead of a spare tire and jack, scream CHEAP. The biggest beef I have is the ungodly amount of wind noise, which the "dealership from hell" service department said was "a characteristic of the car" and made no attempt to do anything about it. It had initial issues with the tire-pressure sensor going off at random times when the tires were filled to spec, and the Sirius radio feature loses signal every time the wind changes direction or you hit a bump in the road. The USB port would be of more value if was good for charging iPads, phones, etc., instead of just feeding audio to the stereo system. All that aside, I've put about 5,000 miles on it and I enjoy driving it.
