OVERALL VERY PLEASED WITH THIS CAR. MILAGE APPEARS PER SPECS.. EXPECT HIGHER MILAGE WHEN WEATHER NOT SO FRIGID .5-20 DEGREES HAS BEEN THE NORM AT THIS TIME.. LATE JANUARY, EARLY FEBRUARY. UNABEL TO STATE RELIABILITY AS VEHICLE STILL TOO NEW.

- Multiple airbags, looks good, tires inexpensive, warrenty
- Gas mileage ave 27 in city 32 on hwy. Tires explode very easily. No GPS with mine???
GPS is NOT standard. Do not hit a curb the tires WILL explode.
Service Centers do not keep stock so repairs are longer. In all I do like the car but I wish I would have looked at the Honda Fit. I bought this car becuase of the price. It is not 13,000 however.

- great fuel economy. Fun to drive. Good sound system even being stock.
- Some road noise but the car it self makes up for it.
I was 19 when I got my 2007 Kia Rio LX. I love it today as I did when I drove off the lot with it. This is my first new car and I do not regret getting it. I love driving it and I love the MPG's. It is a beautiful car and I get heads turned, people cant believe it is a Kia. Kia is getting up there on thier vehicles and the Rio is one of them. Over all, I love my car, for any first time buyer on a budget, get this car, you wont regret it, at least test drive it before you say no!!...read morehide

- I laugh at the gas pump!
- Not much get-up-and-go
Love our Rio! We drove it off the lot one year ago and never looked back. It's perfect for commuting and travelling across town with the family. All that with a 5 star safety rating.

- great city car, for quick lane changes, parking and decent pick up speed
- air louvers positioned bad for the driver, both blocked by steering wheel
If your looking for just that get to work, school, commuting type car, this is it. great on gas, good power when needed, easy to manuever in traffic and parking. also plenty of front seat leg room, not so much for the back passengers.

- My car gets great looks, fuel economy, runs well, and on the top ten list for economy and price
- Vehicle has poor safety rating though has 8 airbags. Drive carefully.
I bought this vehicle with 25,000 miles used from a small dealer bought on an auction. I had the manual door locks, and windows converted to power at an after market shop. I also had an alarm installed. The car is beautiful and ideal transportation for a family of four or five, and you will drive it happily. Its automatic shifts smoothly.
I recommend you buy it used to save money. The dealers in my town it lists the car estimated for over $15,000. I bought mine for $6991 plus tax, $400 dealer fee, and it is a 2007. 2006 thru 2008 are basically unchanged except for minor items like tire pressure sensors, or Ipod connections.
Kia is owned by Hyundai since 1997. This vehicle can be purchased as Kia Rio, or Hyundai Accent though dealer salesmen may try to convince you that they are two different companies. Each model the lights are changed to give each model a distinctive look. This model in the past used to be an ugly car. Since 2006 the vehicle was redesigned and is now very attractive. The air conditioning will freeze you and the stereo sound system is adequate. Don't be afraid to use the warranty. They will repair the unit for most problems or defects that are not considered normal wear and tear items.
The car is very easy to park and cleaning as well. Hopefully they will bring a diesel version from Europe eventually when they are ready. The diesel gets incredible mileage....read morehide

- I get in real world 37mpg. Moor leg room than my PT.
- Rogher ride than my PT but the mpg makes it worth it.
I drive 80 miles round trip to work 5 to 6 days a week. I owned a PT and it got 18mpg so I needed a car with better mpg. The KIA is a real good choice with a 10/100,000 warranty and 37mpg. I've had this car for about 2 mounts and already have 4,000mi on it. I enjoy driving this car.
