great handling, great in the snow, excellent power, good visibility, superb traction control, good braking on ice and snow. headlamps are wide sweeping, controls are very accessable. heater is fantastic!

- fairly comfortable
- bad bad bad quality
Rented a new Rondo, with only 9000mile on it. The engine just died on me WHILE I WAS DRIVING! Then the gear shifter won't come out of Drive and Netural position, so I couldn't restart. I have to call the rental company to tow the car, to get me another rental, .... it was a mess.
Lesson Learned: DON'T BUY Kia !!!!!
I am just glad this is a rental not my own!

- roomy, cargo area, easy to get in and out
- shifting and the seatbelt bell wont shut up
My husband works at a KIA dealership and so he had the heads up on what to get me for a new car. i love minivans but i didnt want the back row so this was perfect for me. i have the ac for the back seat so the kids love having it on them when it is hot outside. i love the middle seat belt because it is real seatbelt not just a lapbelt. The cargo area in the back is great for when i go shopping. I just put the food in there and I dont have to worry about anything sliding around. i hate that if i forget to put on my seatbelt the stupid car wont shut up about it. it is very annoying. Other than that i love it!...read morehide

- Does all the basics well
- Instruments nearly invisible with sunglasses
Drove a base LX I4 today for over an hour. These are kinda ugly with black grill and mirrors and no roof rails. The EX or even the regular LX is nicer looking.
Very competent in every way, tho a bit boring. Engine, trans, handling and breaking are all flawless. Base CD player doesn't play mp3s (thought I test it to be sure). High seating seems very odd if you are used to regular car. Instruments are almost invisible when wearing sunglasses do to poor contrast.
I took it home and tested out its camping abilities using a chaz lounge cushion. You can sleep two people or one person and one large dog. Just shove the front seats all the way forward. If you are 6' or taller your feet will be unsupported (unless you sleep diagonally). But I had a brainstorm. Just pull off the headrests from the back seat and put them on backwards. This will give you and extra 6" of support. You can sit up without hitting your head on the roof. And the front seats go so far forward it creates a kind of a large well for your legs....read morehide

- Spacious, comfortable, large cargo area
I was looking to buy a mini van but basically couldn't afford it. This is a GREAT compromise, a better value. I love this car. I'm so glad that I purchased this vehicle. It is very roomy, plenty of cargo area. LOVE this car.
