- good gas mileage, plenty of room and it's held up to my 2 boys
- Wears through brakes and tires
Purchased As New
I bought my van brand new in 2006 and overall it's been a good car. Five years and 90,000 miles later I have had few issues. We had a couple of issues with the sliding doors, but found out they were included in a recall and the dealership fixed them. I have had to replace the battery twice, brakes have been done twice and I just had it in the shop for it's first real "repair," the air intake hose broke open and caused the check engine light to come on. Hose fixed for $130 and we were on our way again. For a five year old car with 90,000 miles I'm pretty happy with it's reliability. I am on my second set of new tires and have noticed that the front end is hard on tires. I slacked off a little on regular tire rotations and my front tires definatley show more wear than the back. My only real problem is that the "arms" that hold up the back hatch when you open it have gone out and are expensive to replace. Other than that, I've almost got it paid off and I intend to keep it.
