- Great Power, Excellent Value, Safety, Smooth Transmission
- Big turning radius, Horrible OEM Tires
Purchased As New
I have had this van for five years, it has been reliable and comfortable. I'm always surprised by the power when I step on the gas for merging. The seats are comfortable, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the sliding doors (not power) are so east to close, I can do it with one finger. I love the third row seats that can lean back - usually the third row is a penalty, but in this van I am willing to sit in the back. There are so many cup holders it is almost a joke, but the center console shakes a bit over bumps. This vehicle is the best value for the money, I would not trade it for any other car, truck or van.
I have had only two problems with the van: the OEM tires are dangerously bad. I had two tires bulge the belt - one on a road trip from AZ to IL. After the second bad tire I replaced all four - the difference in ride comfort and traction in the rain was noticable. The second issue is annoying - the headlights flicker. During driving if you let off the gas and the RPM drop, the headlights dim and then brighten again. The problem with this is that I have needed to replace a headlight about every six months.
With that said, this is the eights car I've owned, and is by far the most comfortable and reliable vehicle of them all. Best value around, my next vehicle will likely be a Kia.
