We bought this to replace a 2002 Montana in Nov 2011. We looked at the Sienna and Odyssey but neither were in our price range. We didn't discover until days later that there is no outside temp gauge in the vehicle which can be annoying but it does have a cigarrette lighter - strange. The highway mileage is great but I seem to average 15-16 mpg (city) before the gas gauge comes on. We have the bluetooth which is more hassle then it's worth; it doesn't recognize names or numbers. The stow n go seating is great and kids love the windows that roll down. Overall, it has a great ride. We were able to get some great warranties and they took some $$ off the sticker price and we were able to get the financing to the rate we wanted. We have the red van as well as a previous poster and it looks great. We have gotten great compliments on it. Future time will tell how this vehicle holds up but for now I am definitely recommending to friends and family....read morehide

We've had Ford and Dodge vans, and now a Kia. I fugured it couldn't be too bad, after all, the price and warranty were unbeatable for what was on the vehicle. What a pleasant surprise! We just did a 2000 mile trip, averaged 24 mpg overall, my back and hip never hurt me at all during the trip, and I haven't had so much fun driving in years!!...read morehide

- Pros
- Roomy,6spd Trans provides quick exceleration.
- Cons
- No radio controls for rear passengers

Just picked this up as a replacement to a 2004 EX Sedona. 2004 version was not that great. We had a lot of problems with it, but it never left us stranded anywhere. 2012 appears much more refined. 4wheel disk breaks was nice considering the 04 had drums that were a never ending headache. 6speed trans offers great off the line exceleration, comfortable ride and quiet cabin. Again, all things missing from 04. Comps to this were the Toyota Sienna. $40k for similar options. Honda, we did not even consider as we knew the price would be out of the box. Considering the value, warranty, and after the test drive, we realized this was the best bang for the buck. 2012 EX with Lux Package. Retail $32,291 Final out the door price $24,000 including the 04 trade in (fair condition, running...)...read morehide

- Pros

- Cons
- Headlight's give poor illumination

Rented a Claret Red, base model(no options) w/4,000 miles on it, for a 1,500 family trip. When I first saw it in the rental lot, I was not happy, I was expecting a Nissan Quest, Toyota Sienna, or Chrylser/Dodge. After a few miles, I couldn't believe the horsepower, and the smoothness of the transmission. I'm over 6' and my wife is much shorter, but neither one of us felt uncomfortable in the drivers seat, or in any of the other seats. All the seats have the right amount of leg/head room, and the ratcheting forward/bacward headrest is a neat feature. The van was extremely quiet inside the cabin, handled fantastic, although the front suspension is a little soft. If you come to a hard stop, it bounces when you have finally stopped. Sirius Radio was a nice feature. The outside temperature was over 100deg. and the A/C had no problems keeping the inside nice and cold. After the trip was over, with 4 passengers, and all our luggage, our best MPG was 23mpg, and the worst was 21mpg. The only complaint's I can come up with, the headlighs are terrible. They cast little illumination, and the high-beams only hit the signs hanging over the road. The Claret Red paint had a lot of swirl marks in it from the rental agencies car wash brushes, that makes me question the quality of the paint? The other, it's a KIA, so expect HUGE DEPRECIATION....read morehide

- Cons
- A limited selection to choose from.

I am a big fan of Hyundai and Kia. The put out a quality product, backed by an unreal warranty, for a very low price. My Kia had an MSRP of $25,700. The dealership took $400 of of that and I had a $2,500 rebate. They also gave me a very fair offer on my trade. There aren't too many loaded mini-vans around for less than $24,000....read morehide
