Bought this new at Kia of St. Cloud, horrible mileage, was lied to about that, the reimbursment at 9000 miles is $70. We're averaging 20 mpg, was supposed to be around 26-28 when we bought it, and after it's all calculated out, it's a $500 difference, not $70. Took 9 weeks to get the recalled part in, they can't fix the drivers door wind noise, and they put what looks like chocolate milk instead of oil in my 2002 GMC Yukon and about toasted my engine, and they won't do anything about it....read morehide

I never dreamed I would own a Kia. My wife bought the RAV4 Limited 3 months before I got my Kia. The RAV4 would have been my first choice then, but not now. The Kia has it beat. I wanted a V6, and a 6 speed automatic. Can't find that with Toyota or Honda. I love the air conditioned drivers seat too. Mileage is not what the EPA says, but still acceptable. Car rides great, and has plenty of power. Had it 6 months now with no issues, back to the dealer once for a free oil change....read morehide

As my pros stated, love the vehicle but don't love the gas mileage. My previous vehicle was 1998 Dodge Durango which I was getting BETTER GAS MILEAGE from. Don't buy if you want an economy gas vehicle. Its a guzzler, even the entry level FWD V4. Pretty terrible MPG as that's exactly what I did not want. I am very conservative and wanted a good MPG SUV. I will be selling this as soon as I can. MPG in all SUV's will go up in 2015 and better off to get rid of this now then have it for a couple years and not be able to sell it due to poor gas mileage. I just burned $5000 probably. Thanks for wasting my time and hard earned money KIA! Never again!...read morehide

I like my KIA Sorento,if only they could find and repair the vibration that happens between 40 and 70 mph the tires have been balanced.it seems to me like it sets up a harmonic vibration, it will do it in the parking lot sometimes when I backup or go forward.anyone else have that problem? I know it doesn't compare well to my 2005 KIA.it would if someone could figure out what to do to fix it....read morehide

I really like my Kia Sorento MPG better thank my toyota sienna and a lot more fun to drive, plus extra 2 seat that make me switch. Just need more stopping power i notice.

I am averaging only 22 to 24 MPG. This is driving mainly interstates with very little stop and go. The best MPG I obtained driving 95 % interstate,was 26 MPG. And this was driving slower than the speed limit.

With the stated 22 mpg City, 25 combined City /Hwy, 32 mpg Hwy EPA. You will be lucky to get 17 mpg City / 23 mpg Highway, The EPA rating is a lie. There is a Class Action Law Suit being pursued in several states over the subject. They got me good. Kia's Fuel Reimburse Plan for this gross overstatement is a joke. After 1400 miles, reimbursement was $8.64. Not even close. I never would have bought this car and been locked into this mess, if I knew the truth. The Dealer looked right into my eyes and said I got 32 mpg. Two days later, the news of the class action suit hit. But they have been overstating for three years, and the EPA has been letting Kia get away with it. I measured fuel consumption with a six satelight GPS. Speed odometer is fast by 2 mph, flat level surface, no A/C, cruise control on and set at the speed limit, standard temperate, quality fuel, 200 miles non-stop. best was 24 mpg. The Kia Fuel computer in the dashboard is 2-4 mpg higher than actual. So figure yours long hand, I can't wait to find out what other lies we have here. I bet the GDI doesn't develop 195 HP either. GO with the Mazda CR 5.. Like I should have. Good Luck and stay way from Kia....read morehide

My story is identical to the lady's from last year. Within a few days of purchasing the Sorento 2013, we noticed major vibrations while idling. We'll be at a stoplight or just sitting in the car while it was running, and the car will vibrate so bad that it makes us nauseous. To make a long story short, the Kia dealer tried four times to fix the problem, and still no remedy. Kia has been giving us the run-around for six months now. First the car needed a software update then it was a bad alternator and belts. I talked with a friend and he believes its the harmonic balancer or crank shaft pulley. But here's the kicker, I contacted the BBB to help me and they're siding with Kia. So now we're headed to arbitration. Any good advice would be appreciated....read morehide

Recently bought this car in Oct 2012. So far I am enjoying the smooth ride. I am also enjoying the great gas mileage I am getting. Also no wind or road noise so far. I am very pleased with my purchase and love the warranty.
