2008 Kia Sportage
There are 2 user reviews for the EX V6 2WD trim shown below
- the V-6 is responsive, vehicle is spacious without being too large, very versatile interior layout.
- somewhat stiff ride. it reminds you that it is an SUV, not a sedan.
Pretty much the only SUV I would consider buying. Its small size makes it feel less like you're driving a semi, but still gives you most of the advantages of SUVs in general - seating room, load space, and safety. The size also contributes to healthier fuel economy without resorting to hybrids (which add too much to the price of any vehicle).
While the ride is stiff, the vehicle is responsive, perky, and feels self-assured in various traffic situations - good acceleration, confident braking, fairly nimble steering. It is a car that accommodates a variety of drivers.
The interior borders on the incredible. The back seats are actually roomy! For a small SUV there is a lot of storage space in this vehicle, due to Kia's very-well-planned drop-seats arrangements. With all seats up, minimal storage space, but certainly adequate for family trips. With seats down, plenty of room for a full Saturday's shopping excursion.
Vehicle warranties are exceptional.
