On the highway I get 32 mpg and around town nothing lower than 25 mpg. For the price this is an excellant car, I'd never get the options this car has standard on an American car. It has the performance as well as the high mpg. Will consider the KIA everytime from now on.

We love our 2004 Kia, ride so smooth , very comfortable, great get up and go, handle well on the road, out standing warranty, no major problem few battery changes dealer only charge for labor and keeping it for as long as it last.

Bought my wife a 2005 Amanti about 1 1/2 year ago. So far we've been impressed. Dealership has been very fair. Probably good value initially but will suffer trade in value, but we very much consider another Amanti.

We reset the computer read out in the dash. This vehicle is now appearing to average 21 miles to the gallon.

We have been using it primarily for road trips. We've now owned it about five months.

I believe the estimates of 16-22 miles to the gallon are accurate at this point.

Still not great, but a heck of a lot better than the 12mph the computer was indicating the first month or two after we purchased it.

I'm still looking forward to my first hybrid--it's been a long hard battle, but I do believe I've talked my husband into it.

KIA makes a great car. I love everything about it but the gas mileage.

My computer dash information tells me we are getting 12 mpg. We have about three thousand miles on it now. It has been on one road trip thus far.

I understood it's estimates weren't great: 16mpg-25mpg. My husband has a seriously bad back and needed a comfortable road car. He feels its ride is as good as any Lincoln or Cadillac. It is.
The car is a pleasure to drive. I love the ride. The drivers side has lumbar support. The seats are heated. The controls are easy to use. The safety features are excellent.

However--if it were up to me, I wouldn't keep it.

This will end up being my husband's car. When we finally trade in our old 1999 Taurus -- I'm insisting on a hybrid. Over 20-25 mpg is going to be a must.

I say a kia about 2 years ago,thought it was nice, never thought I would own one. After seaching for a car for about 3 months My wife in I walked on the lot of a kia dealer and test drove the Amanti, and drove off the lot with it, we are pleased.

Never thought about buying a Kia before. I rented a Kia Amanti a couple weeks ago. I was overall impressed with this vehicle. Very roomy in front and rear area. Ride was comfortable and smooth. Very powerful 3.8L V6, 24 valve, 264 hp engine. I think it's a great car for the price, compared to other luxury vehicles.

Why can't you have an option of a compass in the mirror?
A small thing like that will keep me from buying an Amanti.
Also, there should be a bigger selection of colors. Red, green, and blue are almost black.
I am impressed with the car.
