2007 Land Rover LR3

- jaguar engine, volvo safety, ZF transmission, scheduled maint. included
- MPG and small brakes. Front pads last about 17k miles. I have had no problems with this truck!
If you want an SUV that is full size and you want to offroad, go in snow or tow, this is one worth considering. My wife and I are very happy with it. There have been a few recalls but I have had no problems with it and frankly, I'm surprised. Knock on wood. MPG is not good and maybe the window buttons are bit far out of reach but the fit and finish is great, it's super practical, has a tight turning radius, it's safe and smooth....read morehide

- Comfort. Quiet. Sure Footed On and Off Road Mud or Snow or Rain
- Squek in the brakes sometimes when backing up
I totally love the Land Rover LR3. I have read of people having issues with them but have not experienced any of that at all. Driving it in the Alaskan conditions I do on a daily basis makes me feel comfortable and secure. I wish gasoline was not in the $3.00 range but if that is what I have to pay for all of the benifits I get with my Land Rover LR3 V/6 SE - I will gladly pay it for my peace of mind. I would without hesitation recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for Safety, Convience and Comfort out of a SUV....read morehide

- Good looking car, smooth ride, lots of head room
- tire problems, electrical problems, windshield washer problems
Everyone warned us not to buy Land Rover. We didn't listen. The car has been in the shop very frequently. Completely shut down one day and entire electrical system needed replacement. Given rental car, it was filthy. Got car back and system went down again. Three weeks after owning car back tire went out. No, I didn't run over glass or anything else that can be found. Dealer repaired tire. 13k all tires need replacement at 300 apiece. Windshield washer fluid for passenger breaking constantly. Takes PHD in ergonomics to figure out how to put seats down and honestly only a strong adult can do it. Plan to break your finger while you are doing it. Can't fit much b/c of the width of the car. While it's tall, it's not wide enough to fit tables etc. Also, unless you have all tint windows expect to have a/c on high constantly b/c the high profile windows make it feel like a terriaum in the summer. It gets about 12 miles per gallon on a good day....read morehide
