- Poor overall build quality
Owner R R Sport Supercharged - Dark Grey
I purchased this car with an idea that the build quality would be as good as it larger brother...m mm
the vehicle had done 500Km when the suspension dropped on 1 side - a new chip sorted that issue
then..my drivers side foot well filled with 2 inches of water....the air con hose had leaked into the cab and filled the car! - the dealer sorted that issue
the car has far too many creaks and load noises when going over dumps - this is an Exec car at an above Exec price tag - and yet the suspension is still not good enough...the dealer will get to see the car again...the 3rd time in less than 7K Km
the fit and interior finish is just OK - but you can not compare it to the Full sized Range Rover [shame thou]
the back seats are not comfortable - but then it has sport suspension and firm seating
i live in the Far East and this car was US$140K - most cars are very expensive here...it is not so much the cost but the lack of reliability...coming from the bastion of quality, that annoys me
the speed is not an issue - it weights 2.5 tonnes..its just im beginning to wish i purchased the full sized RRover Supercharge..then maybe i would not hv had these issues.
Can you imagine buying a new S Class Merc and the finding 2 inches of water in the inside within the first 500Km?!!!
even if you had submerged the Merc into a lake - it would still not leak
my neighbour purchased a Black col one - don't they look cheap in black - it looks like a Hyundai - too much plastic on the outside - he has had the same problems so RR must be aware of these issues...read morehide

- Tolerable for first 15000 miles
- Reliability and maintenance nightmare
Suspension issues from the start. Third trip back they finally replaced the air pump, after lying to me the second time back.
Faulty coolant recovery tank caused false "out of coolant" indication. Waited two weeks for a new tank.
Transmission fault. Updated software.
Starting problems - First blamed fuel, then software. Waited 2 weeks for new software. Now can't get parts. I've been stranded 3 times; they now have had the car for 20 days and counting. And had the nerve to send me a happy form letter trying to "prep" me for the customer survey. Unfortunately, I'm 300 miles outside "lemon law" protection....read morehide

- Gorgeous but a REAL DISSAPPOINTMENT! 2006 HSE MODEL
- POOR MPG, WHIMPY HP,TOO HIGH MAINTENANCE
I SUBMITTED A 100% TRUTHFUL REVIEW (I HAVE PROOF) AND BECAUSE IT WAS NOT POSITIVE IT WAS REMOVED. GEE I WONDER IF THESE REVIEWS ARE BIAS. THE CONSUMERS HAS A RIGHT TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION WHEN BUYING SUCH AN EXPENSIVE VEHICLE. $1,563.00 TO REPLACE BRAKES AND ROTORS EVERY 12,000 MILES MIGHT MAKE A CONSUMER LOOK INTO A DIFFERENT VEHICLE. THE OTHER TWO THINGS I FOUND OUT AFTER I PURCHASED MY HSE WERE (1) VERY POOR MPG AND (2) RESALE VALUE IS HORRIBLE. OUT THE DOOR PRICE$70,630.00. RESALE VALUE FULLY LOADED IN EXCELLENT CONDITION IS UNDER $50,000. IN ONLY 9 MONTHS.
PLEASE BE HONEST WITH CONSUMERS AND GIVE THEM ALL THE FACTS!
IT IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING VEHICLE BUT, DRIVERS WILL BE GREATLY DISSAPPPOINTED....read morehide

- Stance, DNA of larger sibling, Uncommon Character
- Fit&Finish, Over use of Plastic, Back Seats discomfort, and MPG
Regardless of your buying prowess, this car could have been far more superior than the final execution. A car in this price range should NOT use plastic where it is convenient. There are even different grades of plasic, yet it seems they opted to use as inexpensive a material as possible. Truly should be ashamed. My Audi A3 has better trim @ $28K. Granted Audi is the standard bearer of interior fit and finish, yet at $67K, they could have done much better!!!!
The torsional RI is suspect. Far too many rattles and squeeks for a car in this category. I have owned 4 in my lifetime, although it is by far one of the best I have owned, I expected more after all these years.
Back seats are still uncomfortable as in all Range Rovers. Seems to me that by design they are an afterthought.
And MPG...simply horrid! I want the Diesel version please!...read morehide

- Not sure if this review system is worth anything
- Anyone can write a review - even dealerships
I have read many reviews on different websites, and find that the reviews can vary from outstanding to way below par. Hopefully, the reviews are genuine, not advertising for the car company!
