- Seats & interior
- Spent more time being repaired than on the road
Well it's not just my car that had unending series of problems, according to Powers. It was an overpriced piece of junk - and the warranty serivce just couldn't make up for it.
Traded it in for a Lexus!

- Looks GREAT, Comfortable, Performance Terrific.
- Too Many little irritating problems. Been in the shop four times in 6 months
This is a Great vehicle ...When it's not in the shop. I have heard the same thing from three friends who have the same Range. In the 6 months since I bought it I've had
1) Key in the ignition can't turn to start the car (computer chip problem)...4 days in the shop and a tow truck from the mall.
2) Engine trouble warning light on constantly....7 days in the shop...the dealer couldn't figure out the cause so be changed out a bunch of electrical parts, no problems on that since.
3) Lock on Glove compartment broken...1 day in the shop
4) No power in outlets (cigarette lighters/cel phone power) even though fuses are fine....4 days in shop.
More problems than you expect from a $80,000 vehicle....read morehide

- Comfortable, easy to drive, safety features
- constant problems, technicians unable to solve them
I owned a 2000 year model Range Rover which I loved. Traded "up" to the 2006 SuperCharged, top of the line with everything, for much more money. Bad mistake. The climate control is far inferior to the old one with fewer options. No internal storage for the luggage cover. Lots of little stuff like that.
Everything is computerized--and the computer stinks. Constant error messages that are not correct (Transmission Range Change Not Available; adaptive headlight warnings; etc.) Go away when you lock and unlock to reset the computer. Voice recognition can't hear any difference between "dial name" and "dial number."
But, reliability is the worst. Every three months or so some major system breaks down (electrical; suspension; now, the fuel pump) and the vehicle spends a week or more in the shop. Every time I am called to come get it, the technicians have fixed one problem but created two more. Two different service centers, both like this!!
I love the car--when I have it. Basically I am paying $100K to drive a glitchy computer, or a rental car. Would never take this thing off road--would likely break down and die in the desert.
Worst of all is my Toyota-driving wife who gets to say "I told you so" every time......read morehide

- THERE ARE ALOT OF THINGS THAT CAME STANDARD IN THIS VEHICLE
- I HEARD IT COST $2000.00 TO REPAIR BRAKES
THIS CAR IS A VERY NICE RIDE. I LOVE THE WAY IT HANDLES THE ROAD AND WHEN IT NEEDS TO GO FAST, IT DOES.

- Appearance, Comfort
- Interior engineering, realiability, voice recognition system
The car was an absolute disaster. The interior was engineered for Great Britian and cobbled to accommadate use in the United States. The voice recognition system for radio and GPS navigation was absolutely unusable, requiring the driver to take his eyes off the road to operate the radio. I owned the car for six weeks and dumped it for a Porsche Cayanne. The English want to incorporate the high level electronics but their execution is horrendous. My opinions are backed up by JD Powers survey results. Land Rover/Range Rover is ALWAYS on the BOTTOM. Don't buy this disaster on wheels!!!!...read morehide

- A great place to through your money away. If you enjoy being in a Land Rover delearship this is it.
- The car and the company are both cons. I've spent more time in a dealership than on the road.
I would've never thought after spending nearly a hundred grand on a car that I would be sitting in a shop praying they wouldn't find another problem with my Range Rover. I thought it may have just been a lemon then I realized I wasn't the only person driving my new Range Rover to the dealership once a month to get something fixed. It seems to be a common occurence amongst Range Rover enthusiasts. All I can say is, you don't get what you pay for and the service is as bad as the car, at least the one I go to in San Diego, CA. I am going back to a car that costs $35K, runs better than a $100K car and has a service department that actually gets the job done. Two thumbs down on the Range Rover and one finger in the eye such a bad car. Oh yeah and when they send you back out in a Jeep Liberty for a few days, that is when you really feel like you have gotten your monies worth....read morehide

- great handling, teriffic off road preformance, refined highway preformance, and electronics.
- fuel intake is still in need of refienment.
The moment that you step into a Range Rover you know that you are in the very best. The auotomobile exudes style, class, and luxury just as it always has. I have been driveing Range Rovers since 1989, along with many other SUV's such as GMC's, Toyota's, and Jeep's and have been the proud owner of every Range Rover modle. However Land Rover truly broke the mold with the new Range Rover HSE. Just as with every automobile on the road there are small details that one could nit pick about. I myself have found minor things that had I designed the car myself would have done differently, (none of wich concerned the preformance of the car) but no car is perfect. although Range Rover seems to be very close. I have come to hold all other cars up to the standards of my Range Rover, I was surprised to find out resently that among the celebrity owners of the new Range Rovers are big names such as Oprah, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruis, Brad Pitt, Steven Speilburg, and even HRM the Queen of England, among many many others. I think this list speeks for its self, People such as this could drive any car they wanted and they all chose the Range Rover. I must agree with their decisions as the Range Rover continues to be, in my opinion the highest quality SUV on the road today....read morehide

- BEAUTIFUL DESIGN
- OVERPRISED, ANOINING ENGINE NOISE/EXHAUST NOISE
I WAS IN THE MARKET FOR A LARGE LUXRY SUV AND THE FIRST CAR I DROVE WAS A RANGEROVER HSE. IT HAD A NICE SMOOTH RIDE FOR A SUV BUT THE ENGINE NOISE WAS KILLING ME. AN ULTRA LUXURY SUV SHOULD NOT HAVE AN EXHASUT SOUND OF A TUNED WRX. IT SHOULD BE QUIET AND REFIGNED. THE INTERIOR WAS OK CONSIDERING THAT FOR THE PRICE OF 70 G'S YOU COULD GET SOMETHING WIH MUCH BETTER QUALITY. IT WAS A NICE VEHICLE BUT NOT NICE ENUF FOR THE PRICE. I WOULD RECOMEND A LEXUS LX 460. IT IS BETTER IN EVERY ASPECT. AMAZING SILKY SMOOTH RIDE WITH A PIN DROP QUIET CABIN, LEGENDARY LAND CRUISER OFFROAD PERFORMANCE, BETTER SAFFTEY FEATURES AND MUCH MORE HIGH TECH GADGETS. ALSO 10K LESS!!! IVE HAD IT FOR 3 MONTHS NOW AND ITS WONDERFULL. DON'T FORGET TOYOTA RELIABILITY!!!...read morehide

- Awsome Integration of the Bluetooth Cell Phone, Sirius Satellite Radio, GPS & Optional DVD system
- Gets dirty fast!!
Our car has every factory car electronic gadget (wireless tire monitors, Navigation, Sirius Satellite, 6 DVD Changer with 2 - 7" TFT Screens in headrests, 6 CD Changer, Bluetooth wireless. 2 mos. and 2000 miles into it there have been a few quirks but overall everything works great. Exhaust tone sounds great while accelerating. 0-60 in 8 seconds is not too bad for a 6000+ pound AWD vehicle!...read morehide
