- Too many cons to think of a pro
- Expensive, unreliable, poor customer service, lots of problems
Our second Range Rover with both being 'lemons'. Absolutely riddled with problems. Every week a new problem or an old problem returns. Spent more time in the workshop than out on the road. These SUV's, after 30+ years, have never been right and probably never will be. I could not recommend one to anyone. Land Rover customer service absolutely stinks. They do not care on bit for their owners who are plagued with problems. These really are overpriced pieces of junk. Sure, let the celebrities buy them and get photographed in them, but then again they have more money than sense. Any wise SUV buyer should avoid the Land Rover brand. Lets face it, Land Rover never has had a great reputation, so why waste almost a hundred grand on something you know isn't going to work out. I gave it a second chance and regretted it. For sure, loads of Range Rover's are 'lemoned' every month. My advice, delete a Range Rover from your shortlist, and choose something else instead. If you are a poor, unfortunate Range Rover owner who is experiencing that "unreliability effect" that every Range Rover comes with, free of charge, keep all your service dockets and once it has been in the workshop enough times, start your lemon law claim (using the regulations that apply in your state). Don't give up, fight it to the end, and you will get a full refund (less a small allowance for mileage used). Then, once you get your refund, buy something else and treat the whole experience as a learning curve of how to avoid certain vehicle manufacturers such as Land Rover. You have rights, so use them. Such a shame Land Rover doesn't publically publish how many lemons it produces each year. But because it doesn't, its no wonder the quanity is so high!
