Purchased As Used
Purchased used 2.5yrs ago and no strange things have happened to it that wouldn't be considered normal for a used vehicle! Mainly regular oil/fluid changes brakes and tires... The 2006 was the first year for the Jaguar motor married up to the ZF transmission which is a solid combination. No oil leaks ever! No suspension issues! With over 80K miles on it, it's holding up well and besides, these trucks are not hard to work on. All parts are available on-line or at your local Rover Dealer. So many videos available on-line that will help you keep your cost of ownership down. Many independent shops to keep that cost in check when needed, very much like any other brand today... If you think going Japanese or German is any better quality wise, you are kidding yourself. Firstly, much of this truck is from Germany (BMW creature comforts/engine controllers, ZF transmission, trim etc.) These vehicles are built like brick #$%$ houses and will keep running as long as you don't abuse them by skimping out on the maintenance. No other vehicle say's style and capability more than a Range Rover... If you cannot appreciate the amount of engineering that went into this product and all the factory improvements/capital expenditures made on behalf of the brand in the UK, then buy your average new American 1970’s technology truck… You will blend in just fine…
