I bought a new Moonshell Mica with grey interior on 5/16/06. The vehicle did not disappoint. It is much luxurious than the previous model and has many more amenities and more power. For those who do not like the ES, then they made the wrong choice and should try an Infiniti, Mercedes, or BMW.
My Salesman says you can use regular fuel instead of premium. He has had an RX and ES for him and his wife for the past 6 years and there has been no side effects to the engine as a result.
Since I bought the vehicle 3 weeks after it came to market, many dealers said that they cannot sell it for less than full sticker. They are full of it. I found a dealer willing and able to knock about 5% off the sticker and he earned my business. As far as recalls, .5% for the Camry is nothing compared to other car makers.
The ES350 overall is a great vehicle and will clearly last an owner ten plus years with minimal problems without question....read morehide

- EXTERIOR, TRANSMISSION I HOPE!!
Though ES 350 is in the market, I'd buy an ES 330 if it didn'd have a transmission Problem. I was stunned with the inside material. Actually, if you compare the ES 350 and ES330, you'll notice that there is a slight advantage for the ES330, just concentrate! YES!!!! the wood finishing in ES 330 '06 is much better than the 350, and that of the 350 reminds me of es330 '04!!!!! MAN!!! I'm quite sure that 2008 es will have the es 330 '06 wood finishing!!! See how japanese think? so if you wanna buy a 350, wait till 2008 is in the market, otherwise stick to your 330!...read morehide

- Reliablity, Ride, Quietness, Price, Fuel Economy, Requires Premium Fuel
The Lexus ES350 has improved but it is not a good value. The reliablity is questionable, Toyota recalled .5% of 2007 Toyota Camrys. The Ride is not smooth and the engine revs to high for a luxury car. You could still feel bumps on bumpy roads and roads underconstruction. The Price is ridiculus but I am willing to pay. The fuel economy is only 27 combined so far and its not as good as a Honda Civic. I hate how the car requires Premium Fuel so I am going to sell it. Only 500 miles so far and I am not satisfied....read morehide
