- Pros
- good fuel economy, comfortable ride, stable in cross winds, good visibility
- Cons
- poor driver position, nav system is poor. transmission/cruise poor. steering poor
Purchased As New
drivers position is uncomfortable for any one over 5'10" w/ limited knee space due to the bulky console and limited telescope of the steering column. this compounds the poor steering and makes high speed driving tiring and tedious and dangerous around curves when your arms have to fully extended to reach the steering wheel. the navigation system is poor and gives limited maps and cannot redirect easily if you mistakenly take a wrong turn or restroom stop. in cruise control the transmission is constantly shifting up or down trying to control the speed in too narrow a band. the cad xts is probably a better car if you can find one not loaded up w/ dealer junk inflating the price i'm hoping for reliability since mechanically it doesn't measure up @$43,500 and the color and other option choices are so limited. i would not buy again and wish i had a do over. (2800 miles currently)...read morehide

- Pros
- Good but not great as other Lexus
- Cons
- Never achieved 40mpg as claimed.
Purchased As New
To top it all, the dealer staff is non responsive to comments and concerns. It has not achieved 40 mpg as claimed in 2000 + miles of use. Radio tone "floats". Rear doors have patches (literrally) of plastic type materials to catch dirt/dings. I could go on. Not a good "luxury car" buying experience.
Other LS Lexus I own is a different car- made with a different team in a different era. Those days are gone....read morehide6 out of 7 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Luxury, comfort and even speed
- Cons
- not much to say

This car has it all for the price and reliability. Everyone states they owned other luxury cars but this takes the cake. I too have had many cars before the ES350 and my wife actually persuaded me to get this car. I will never go back and Lexus actually has me hook to go get an ES for my wife or maybe give her my ES and get a GS for me. Whatever I chose I know the safety testing is also the best I will get for my money....read morehide

- Pros
- well appointed, solid feel, good fuel economy, great car!
- Cons
- No rear folding seats- That's all I could come up with!

As another reviewer said: My First Lexus, My first Hybrid. Replaced 5 series BMW with the 300h. The fuel economy was worth it alone! Then, if you ever feel that "eco mode" is getting boring, switch over to Sport mode - Bye, Bye! Lots to learn about the in dash computer and all of it's capabilities. The Lexus dealer was awesome at making sure I know all I can about it. They want customers to drop in for a lesson or to ask a question, get a bottle of water, whatever. I'm very happy with this car!...read morehide

- Pros
- Luxury car with 40 mpg
- Cons
- Large footprint for parking in small spaces
Purchased As New
This is my first Lexus and first hybrid vehicle and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The car is well-appointed with many of the features you find in a similarly priced luxury vehicle. The ride is strikingly smooth, relaxing and quiet; perhaps the best in the price range. After 4 hours of interstate driving my wife and I felt energetic, fresh and totally without car fatigue. I find acceleration more than acceptable and surprisingly good considering the engine size and mileage. On the interstate I am getting 40 miles per gallon. The back seats are roomy and not confined with ample head and leg room. The exterior is stylish and not boring or dull. We are very pleased and thrilled with our purchase and have no regrets about our selection....read morehide

- Pros
- Excellent fuel economy, quiet, smooth and comfortable.
- Cons
- No discounts on the hybrid
Purchased As New
By far, the best riding high economy hybrid with the comfort and luxury of a Lexus. The car rides and feels like a well oiled watch - smooth, quiet and solid. Performance may not be as nice as the ES350 with the V6, but a respectable 0-60 of 8 seconds which is very good for its class.

- None at all.

We own the 2013 ES and it is an amazing car. The earlier models don't come close to compairing. Neither does the BMW or Audi. The eco/sport transmission button is a great option.

- Pros
- Excellent Fuel Economy-Sharp looking car
Purchased As New
My wife just traded her 2008 ES350 in for a 2013 300 h and the performance has been great. It's comfortable, roomy and easy to navigate. It's super to have to put gas in every other week rather than every week.

I used a new 2013 ES350 for a day and was pleasantly surprised. I own a '06 GS 430, so I had been less than impressed with the '12 & '11 ESs that I have used in the past. I like spirited driving and lean toward sports cars, so I only used the sport mode. The car was loaded and featured navigation, rearview camera, and blind spot monitors.(very nice) I am old-fashioned and don't like the idea of gps tracking, but for those so inclined, it is a neat feature. The car was very roomy with comfortable, fully adjustable seats, and a spacious trunk. I, personally, only like high horsepower vehicles, but the market segment that this car is targeted toward will be very pleased. I cannot comment on gas mileage because I didn't purchase any, and didn't look at the computer indicator, but it seemed to be getting reasonable mileage....read morehide
