- Pros
- comfortable, quiet, smooth, refined
- Cons
- horrible fuel economy, under-powered, over-priced
Purchased As New
horrendous fuel economy (I average 15 mpg at best), nearly $100 for a fuel tank of gas, very comfortable road manners, smooth, quiet, engine doesn't have enough power even though its a V8 as I struggle getting onto the freeway. Honestly I wouldn't buy this SUV again bc there are bettery SUVs out there for a lower price...read morehide

I traded in my RX 350 got this GX 460.
1. driving fun: much better then RX, 8 cys more power
2. censer and back camera very useful,

- Pros
- luxury styling, ride comfort, and tech are superior
Purchased As New
Great third row seating available, ride comfort and stance is well worth the extra cash compared to the closely related 4runner.
ideal for all uses, including offroad and ferrying children to soccer or clients to lunch/dinner

- Pros
- well built,comfortable
- Cons
- does not come with off road tires
Purchased As New
I purchased this new from Lexus of Las Vegas and traded in a 2006 of same model. My old one came with Michelin off road tires while the new one came with some cheap Bridgestone freeway type mini-van tires. The dealer refused to switch the tires.

If you intend to drive off road or on rough roads, be sure to get the right tires. Without decent off road tires the vehicle is unsafe and rides like an overpriced minivan.
Lexus is generally concerned about their image and I was surprised to see them cheapen their image by saving a few hundred dollars by skimping on the tires.
other than this issue, it appears to be well made....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
