- Good Fuel economy, Navigation system is fantastic, comfortable seats, great leather, great steering,
- Back Seat might be cramped for anyone over 6ft 3. New type of brakes loves to unleash brake dust.
I went from an 03 Nissan Altima to an 02 Lexus ES and then traded that in for an 07 IS 250 AWD. Let me tell you I loved my ES but at the age of 23, I wanted something more sporty. I felt like the ES introduced me to Lexus and now it was time for me to find something concrete to stick with. Welcome my Fully Loaded Lexus IS 250 AWD. I live in NJ where you really do not know if it will snow or not. I opted for the AWD instead of the 350 larger engine. Let me tell you don't be fooled, the engine in the 250 is excellent. A difference of two seconds didn't make a big deal to me. I rather go with the navigation system and rear camera. This car is sweet. 1. Lexus vechiles are very reliable. 2. This isn't a rebadge Toyota as so many people like to "claim." The style yells sex and attitude. For a sports sedan this vechile is very smooth. I love the seats, the adapative head lights are pretty cool, but hard to really notice the difference if your not driving in a very dark alley. The car is soooo quiet, the sound system is amazing. I always thought that a car with more then six speakers is more of overkill. Let me tell you, the difference is amazing, the system really allows the surround aspect to come full circle. The car handles excepptionally well. My car sticker price was for 40, got it for 36. Lexus of Atlantic City treats everyone exceptional and I wldn't consider them maggits like other dealerships, esspecially the toyota dealership, which are like sharks. Amazing since same corporation. Overall great car, stay away from the safe colors like silver and white. Go for a cool color. Mine is smokey Granite Mica AMAZING color really brings out the lines of the car. Glacier Frost is another amazing color and if anyone ever finds a matador red take a photo for me. Great Car....read morehide

- Great ride. Smooth Steering
- Blind Spots, Delay in shifting when force shifting. Pretty quick but not really sporty
Fun to drive with lots of nice features... NAV is ok, bluetooth works great for hands free but doesn't do anything advanced.

- Great styling, classy, drives great, is very responsive, and luxurious.
- No complaints!
This car is gorgeous to look at, feels great to drive, and has responsive steering, brakes and acceleration. The stereo sounds fantastic, with three speakers in each door plus many more. So many options, everything you could want. Really feels like the car is built around the driver. The door sensors and button push start are convenient, the car looks hot without after market additions. The IS250 comes highly recommended!...read morehide

- Good fuel economy, fast acceleration, handsome look
- Small back seats, nothing more.
A minimalist car but a joy to drive. None of those big wings, big hood scoops and big exhaust. All you get is a beautiful car with grip - tons of it.
I like the size of it although the back seat could be made more comfortable. It is the perfect daily driver, AWD gives you the confidence to take corners and foul weather.
People complain about the brake dust, it's not that bad. I'll probably switch mine with Ceramic pads shortly since they are cleaner and I like their performance better.
All in all, a great car. The Lexus badge just makes it better resale value and quality. Not that Im selling mine, it's just nice to know....read morehide

- Nice styling, quality craftmanship, comfortable, quiet inside.
- Non-full size spare tire, CD player not-working issues, backseat could be bigger.
I live in Canada so AWD is important. My last car was a 2004 Audi A4, great car , but generic looks and waaaay too popular. They're everywhere. Chose the IS250 AWD after some research. It has been even better than the Audi. What I like; it looks awesome - beautiful lines, shape, etc. Great performance - it's got enough jump off the line and enough when u need it on the highway. I find myself going way faster in this car than the Audi (it's akin to driving a fighter jet, you find yourself slipping in behind other cars and making tighter lane changes). The interior is gorgeous and the leather has to be the best I've ever seen inside a car with the exception of perhaps a Rolls or a high-end Jaguar. Service from Lexus has been great as well. I blew a tire on a road that just had a rally race on it and then proceeded to destroy the tire with that emergency filler. They replaced the entire tire and air pressure sensor free of charge. Other mentionables - Huge side mirrors (no blind spot for me), interior night lighting is exceptional, slightly tinted windows all-around, and nice dash layout. If I had to, I'd buy it again....read morehide

- Solid ride, good acceleration for only 200hp, handsome interior, Back-up camera
- Front wheel brake dust awful, Poor IPOD connection, Serious Blindspots, NAV not worth the money.
Probabaly would not buy this car again knowing what I know now. At first I was thrilled but the novelty wore off quick. The car has a very nice ride, handles ok not great, but the brake dust is a real problem. Blind spots are also VERY bad...Had first accident in 15 years while merging after having car for only 2 months....And the NAV has way to many granny features on top of not being very accurate, especially in Voice Recognition Mode. NOT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY....read morehide

- Amazing on cornors.
- Car drives so well, you don't realize how fast your driving.
I've been driving Volvo's for years, and a friend talked me into trying a Lexus IS 250 AWD!! I'm so glad I listened!! It seems that nothing is far enough away. I love driving this car!
The only problem I've encounted is the GPS has trouble with the Boston streets, but with the Big Dig exit's change daily, and when you least expect it, a street becomes one way, that's not a surprise. Veterans of the city have the same problem....read morehide

- Quality, handling, appearance, seats, guages, auto-wipers, ergonomically laid out
- Stiff sporty suspension causes you to feel everything, small back seat room
I have owned many new cars of equal value and am so impressed with the quality of this car. Every seam inside and out must have been put together with a laser. No flaws in the paint, no threads from the interior and every knob or switch feels quality. The features are unbelievable, from auto wipers that really adj. to the amount of rain and your speed correctly to HID headlights that turn with the wheel!! Heated and cooled seats and Mark Levinson sound from Harman Karden that is like the car, incredible. There is some road noise but mainly at low speeds from the tires, not from air leaks in the car. The car is extremely fun to drive. You can take turns at speeds you probably shouldn't and it could be a ticket machine as 80 feels like 50....read morehide
