- Reserve power, buttery leather, shuts off at stops
- Jittery ride( freeway, rough roads...ugh!), ML stereo, price, road noise, price
The RX 400h is nice, but I own a 330, and I find it superior in nearly every aspect. I rented the 400h a couple of months ago for the weekend. It was cool that it would shut off at stop lights, although you could really feel when the engine KICKED in again. It would bounce all over the place like a truck on bad roads (and there's a lot of them in L.A.), plus, while it was busy jiggling, the steering wheel shook so bad I had a hard time controlling it. And the voice-activated nav didn't work. And my RX 330 gets better MPG than the hybrid did. The Mark Levinson is not worth it. My 330 doesn't have it (it just has the Lexus Premium Audio), and the sound is , I think, FAR superior to the Mark Levinson. ML was fuzzy, and it kind of cracked on the loud parts.NOTE: ML is owned and manufactuered by Harmon/Kardon, so if you're looking at a car with that option, I 'd save that money and install an aftermarket.
Some nice things:lot of reserve power(comp. to 330), all-leather steering wheel (but no wood), fact that it's a hybrid.(Needs more refinement, though)
