- Save the environment while driving in style.
- You have to change your driving style to get the most out of this car.
I've only put about 1300 miles on my 400h so far and average 25mpg. I haven't really made an effort to change my driving though, and frankly, the MPG is not why I paid the extra $$$$ for the hybrid over the Rx330. If gas mileage is your biggest concern- get a Prius. The RX400h allows me to drive guilt free since it is an Ultra Super Low Emission Vehicle. Lets face it, anyone who can afford this car should can handle the cost of the fuel it takes without breaking the bank. This car is NOT about saving money/fuel, for me, its about protecting the environment without compromising on luxury. Also-The RX400h uses the same technology as the Toyota Prius- there is nothing new about it. Sure, in 10 years the hybrids we drive today will be old news, but the technology will only continue to improve if we, the consumers create a demand by purchasing the hybrids of today....read morehide

- just fun to drive and a very nice ride!
- i've heard the mileage isn't that great, but I have no complaints yet.
I got the towing pkg and will let you know how it pulls a horse trailer when the time comes! It supposedly tows 3500 lbs.

- Nicely appointed, good quality so far, great dealer.
- Rides a little rough because of the fancy thin tires, I think.
Gas milage stinks. We're averaging 25 MPG in town and on highway. Were promised over 30 in town and 26/27 on highway. We would not purchase this car again for the additional cost over a regular RX350 gas engine. Something should be done about the advertising as concerns gas milage.

- WONDERFUL RIDE. GPS IS STANDARS, BUT DIFFICULT TO OPERATE.
- FUEL ECONOMY IS NOT WHAT IS PROMISED
MY 400H IS 11MONTHS OLD SO IT IS WELL BEYOND THE BREAKING IN PHASE. I ONLY GET 23.1 MPG WHICH IS A FAR CRY FROM WHAT WAS PROMISED. IT IS NOT WORTH SPENDING THE EXTRA FOR THE HYBRID TECHNOLOGY. IN ADDITION I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WILL HAPPEN AT 5 YEARS WHEN THE WARRANTY ON THE BATTERY WILL EXPIRE. IF I WERE TO BUY AGAIN, I WOULD CONSIDER THE TOYOTA HIGHLANDER HYBRID AS IT SEEMS TO HAVE THE SAME HORSE POWER AS THE 400H....read morehide

- Good fuel economy in-town, excellent power
The RX400h is an amazing vehicle. All of the amenities of a luxury car with the versatility of an SUV - within reason. The power is surprising for a hybrid and is comparable to the RX330. This is our first luxury vehicle and it has been well worth the money!

- FUEL ECONOMY IS ACCEPTABLE
- NO IDEA
THE APPEARANCE OF THIS VEHICLE IS LOOKING UGLY. IT NEEDS TO DESIGN MORE FUTURISTIC. ANYWAY, IT NEEDS TO BE LOOKING DIFFERENTLY FROM OTHER ORDINARY CARS.

I had 2004 330RX before the hybrid. It was a good car .. bought hybrid to make myself feel good about environment. I have driven 2300 miles so far .. have averaged about 25 MPG vs. about 20 on my 330RX. I drive with a light foot but I live in a hilly area which works against the hybrid. If you live in a flat area, I would think 27-28 is very achievable.
Other than mileage, no problems and loved my RX330 for 60K miles. Hope to get more out of this one ......read morehide
