- Comfort level, looks, handling, low noise, fit and finish, unique features
- Doesn't drive exclusively on electric, sound system a bit weak
Overall, it has been a great car over our first month of ownership. Wish it got a little better mileage in city driving, but this is a very low impact (environmental) SUV that gives up very little in creature comforts in doing so.

- I own this vehicle, stylish, good acceleration
- Max. MPG 26.2 at 15k miles , 4x4 drive a bit stiff
Service costs at dealership 3-4x higher than at fast lube shops
Have to take in every 5k or dash alert very bothersome
Borrowed a 2 wheel drive model while being serviced, It handles much easier than the 4x4
Bought from Nalley Lexus at Marietta, Ga. They Stink................
MPG is overstated
Navigation system too difficult
That's my 2 minutes..........................read morehide

- smooth, economical, quick off the line
- none yet
After driving 15k, I believe it's the best luxury hybrid on the market. Golf clubs fit perfectly in the rear. GPS is great. Smooth and never has any problems. Almost seems to float on the highway.

- GPS is excellent; controls great; power and looks very nice; good features
- Headroom poor; rattles in rear; 19 mpg in New England
Voice activation needs work as does connection to BlueTooth devices.
The power rear door is excellent.
Storage space in the front is lacking between the seats. The plastic tray on the floor seems useless.

- No trim specified for this review
- all is great
- in greece this Lexus lacks the gps system,
in other words a greek user cannot use the gps system to find him/herself on the greek roads as it is inexistent
this can be quite unfair since the owner pays for the system, the pamphlets written in greek deceive the future owner of the existence of gps,
NB: the gps is available for most european countries...read morehide

- comfortable; luxury features; lexus quality
- Mileage is not close to epa estimate...more like 25 not 35...
Mileage rating is overblown by EPA and LEXUS...common concern of
otherwise, an excellent car

- good gas mileage. Better pickup than all gas vehicle
- Noisy ride compared to Lincoln MDX
Was surprised to note that Lincoln MDX eqipped similarly to RX350 gave much superior ride and comfort.

- The RX400h has a great ride and lots of power!
- Your fuel economy will decrease slightly in cold weather
I've had the Lexus RX400h since mid-July 2006. It's a great trip car. I have to drive almost 20 miles to work, most of it freeway, so I can acheive very good mileage, usually around 27-29 mpg. It decreases slightly in cold weather, like down to 25-27 mpg. I was getting about 22 mpg (combined) on the RX330 that I traded in for the hybrid, so if I can do 27 mpg (5mpg more than the RX 330) or better, I am happy. I highly recommend the Navigation system, it really helps me out. And the Bluetooth phone capability keeps me completely "hands free" - I never talk on my handset in the car any more, I don't have to. The "reverse" camera (which helps you see things behind you as you back up) is also very helpful....read morehide

- The Best SUV You Can Buy
- Fuel Economy "Eh" for Short Distances
If you want to buy an environmentally friendly SUV, there really is only 1 choice: Lexus 400h. Its an easy choice to make too, because the car has one of the lowest "true cost of ownership" ratings, weighs a ton but performs like a race car, has every luxury feature you could want, and is the most reliable and dependable car on the road. My car had 0 defects and that's typical for most Lexus buyers. The hybrid engine, which emits almost no pollutants, delivers tons of horsepower into the contiunous transmission system (which doesn't "shift"). The highway performance is astounding. The car has tons of "easter eggs" everywhere you look. It drives and handles like a dream. This is simply the best car you can buy, particularly in the hybrid class.
My one complaint is the car performs poorly for short city trips in terms of fuel economy. You won't save money on these trips despite the high ratings from the government. Still, its a very green car and its accelaration is partly to blame for why those trips are so short!...read morehide
