- The RX400h has a great ride and lots of power!
- Your fuel economy will decrease slightly in cold weather
I've had the Lexus RX400h since mid-July 2006. It's a great trip car. I have to drive almost 20 miles to work, most of it freeway, so I can acheive very good mileage, usually around 27-29 mpg. It decreases slightly in cold weather, like down to 25-27 mpg. I was getting about 22 mpg (combined) on the RX330 that I traded in for the hybrid, so if I can do 27 mpg (5mpg more than the RX 330) or better, I am happy. I highly recommend the Navigation system, it really helps me out. And the Bluetooth phone capability keeps me completely "hands free" - I never talk on my handset in the car any more, I don't have to. The "reverse" camera (which helps you see things behind you as you back up) is also very helpful.
