- Awesome looking SUV, tech is really good, very comfy and quiet
- gas mileage
Purchased As New
This car got many mixed reviews. I was just about to buy an Audi wagon when I saw youtube reviews by Drivetime and CarTech (CNET). I found these two resources credible and they said the Lincoln was great. Checked the MKX out for myself and loved it. I was hoping to get advertised gas mileage but no such luck. One plus is that it runs on regular gas without complaining. Got rear-ended and there was virtually no damage to MKX *knock on wood* where there would've been thousands of $ damage to my last car. Some people complain about the tailgate going up and down. I had the same issue...very embarrassing to witness. Notified the service deparment and they replaced the tailgate motor...issue SOLVED completely!! I was originally concerned about the THX system and #$%$ SIRIUS quality. Here's my take: In an Acura, for example, SIRIUS/XM sounds pretty good & MKX sounds just OK, with some phasing issues that bug me. Haven't heard Acura HD radio yet but MKX sounds excellent. iPod and CDs sound pretty good in Acura but MKX can sound superb depending on the source material. You can really tell the difference. Overall, I'm happy with the car. We'll see what happens when the lease is up.
