In looking for a car that had luxury and performance, the Lincoln Town car had it, even over the Cadillac DTS or STS. The gearing is perfect for a car its size and there is no need for 300 to 400 horse for a car that is used mainly to get from point A to point B in a comfortable and safe manner. Many people forget that it is one of the few cars that has a five star crash protection in four categories and to me that is worth more than the sound of a supercharged engine that has less than stellar reliability. Lincoln has keep it simple and that's why there will be always room for a car of its safety, room and reliability. Not all of else can afford an Enzo Ferrari and quite frankly as a day to day vehicle, even if one could afford one, the bumping and thrashing around in the Ferrari would get old really quick.
