2006 Lincoln Town Car
There are 4 user reviews for the Signature trim shown below
- quiet, overall finish, exceptional paint quality, simply pleasant to own.
- Needs a little more high tech pizzaz.
An excellent car, unfortunately, a frequently overlooked. But quality-value absolutely excellent. Not the most stricking car to see,
but really fun to own. Smooth, quiet, reliable, secure and safe.
It really equals and exceeds many cars that are sold as better
at a higher price. Lincoln needs to up date the technology side,
and pull ahead. Lincoln needs refined, elegant styling....read morehide

- Extremely comfortable comtemporary sedan, fit and finish are top rate
- None so far
We went from an SUV to a Town Car. It is roomy, comfortable and serves us well. Great fuel economy compared to the SUV and does everything we need. We have 2 kids (12 and 2) that need room to travel and a trunk to haul their stuff. Yes, there is a car seat in the Town Car. Ours is Ceramic White Pearl. It's a great looking car with big BSW Michelins. It is very agile considering its size. I can't stay out of it....read morehide

- Living in hilly country, highway MPG is outstanding! 38MPG downhill! 29MPG uphill! Value*****
- Parking amongst compacts impossible. haha, brakes feel soft in sudden stops.
Prestige comes with the package. Watch TV/Movies & see a Linc T/C in most scenes. Had mine appraised July 06 & its depreciation isn't as noticable. I'm a big man so comfort has been Choice A! Been in emergency situations HWY, been cut off but was able to navigate past construction barriers, etc. so steering is outstanding. My transmission is operating very well as is acceleration. Drove in high temps (111f) at 105 MPH for 45 mins. everything worked flawlessly incl. air cond.
My work takes me to the airport so taking out and putting in luggage is no problem for me and others.
The Lincoln commands respect from other drivers. Drive something smaller and see what happens at rush hour.
The speedometer is 2 mph under so I don't gain attention from the Smokies out there gauging your speed using Laser or Microwaves.
Instrumentation is wonderful right down to the clock.
Traction control works well under 32 F and wet conditions.
My Lincoln is a keeper!...read morehide

I use my signature lincoln as a limousine to shuttle clients to and from the airport. I get many compliments on the interior and comfort. These cars are a good value and super reliable!!!! Most of my fellow limo owners have close to 300,000 miles on these cars and they just keep going.. Oh yea great sterio and gas mileage as well....read morehide
