- Good for limo's, i.e. can be stretched, comfort as sedans, attract clients to our limo company.
- Repair costs high; however, with limo company, many riders&less repairs.
My husband and I have owned one of the top Limousine Companies in the SF East Bay Area for over 15 years, and have purchased Lincoln Towncars many, many times - usually a new one each year - at the least. They do stand the test of time, especially considering that they carry many people and are used often. Even though repair costs may be high - it is a "luxury" car, and with the more than average use, they really don't need repairs as often as one may think, e.g. they run often and repairs are about the same as our own (personal) vehicle, a Toyata! In addition, our customers prefer BLACK cars, and every year (but one), they can easily be "stretched" by a custom limo company, for use as "stretch limo's". Even 10-psgr stretches can carry the weight and work well considering. (They can be stretched more, but the only one we carry is a 16-psgr Hummer - which is MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE, but it would be too much for a LTC. PLEASE, any one in the limo industry needs BLACK cars (we did have a silver one, but clients really didn't like it). For personal use - they must be great, comfort, durability, and we have NEVER been on the side of the road. Plus, gas mileage is surprisingly good for its size. We love these cars.
