Purchased As Used
Esprits are exotic, fast, low and thrill to own Its a rare car unlike a Porsche there may be only 700 V8 Esprits left in the States. It was a dream car of mine since I had first test drove a new yellow 84 Esprit as a turbo 4 cyl. I remember saying to myself "My god what an unbelievable car One of these days..." Finally came 2 yrs ago when I bought a yellow 98 Esprit 24k miles one owner and just had the major(25k mile) service done They hold and handle the road like your on a railroad track. If pushed in 1st it will kick like a mule setting you back in your seat 3000rpm the twin turbos kickin riding up to 6500 your doing 55-60 MPH in 4-5 seconds before shifting you still have four more gears to go . I drove it in Vermont, Rt 100 150 miles or so of twisting turning rising and dipping roads hills you can really get into and enjoy any sports car the scenery was beautiful the roads clean and dry. It is appointed in black leather with yellow piping a great sound system and fail safe alarm system. It attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes. Its one draw back the 5 speed manual feels a bit clunky to shift. But It is something I can easily live with. It is a car worth keeping....read morehide
