I look at one other review here with disdain, knowing full well that it has been writen possibly by someone who is selling other cars in opposition to Maserati. Its 2011 now and maserati have just won the super star races at Donnington and Spa against all comers. My 2004 aniversary GT is still faultless, I often do 3000klms in 3 days driving across Australia and the motor is bullet proof, no belts, has timing chains to the cams. Anybody who stalls a car 3 times and complains about the car instead of his incompetence is a nut case and cant be taken seriously. Roy...read morehide

- Appearance, power, rarity, interior beauty
- gas mileage, cowl shake, NAV system is almost totally useless
My 04 spyder cambiocorsa is absolutely stunning. Its an Argento Luna Metallic (light blue) exterior with a very light tan and navy blue interior. The interior quality is absolutely stunning. The 390 hp power is very nice though of course more power is always welcome. DO NOT get the navigation system as it is a $2000 totally useless system. Street names are not displayed and it is very difficult to use..very lame. There is shaking of the cars front end when going over a bumpy road... while I have heard that maserati has stiffened the front end since introduction in 2002 it is still nowhere near as stable as my 97 Porsche Boxster. It was also in the shop 4 times during the first 2 months I had the car for a bunch of minor issues. (nav system only speaking italian, stereo set for European bands, not AM/FM, squeek from the convertible top and a few others). Though the car has had some issues it is still one of the most beautiful cars on the road and I love the stares I get from Mercedes and BMW owners. They race up alongside me to just stare at the car. Whenever I am at a light or in a parking lot people love to ask questions and just walk around the car. While a Mercedes SL, BMW 645, or Porsche 911 are very nice cars, I doubt they attract anywhere near the attention that my Maser gets. The cambiocorsa paddle shifters are incredible to use though there is a known slight lag of acceleration from a standstill. Though this car has had some minor issues.... I highly recommend it from someone who likes attention and wants something different from the crowd...read morehide

- LOOKS, LIMITED NUMBERS ON ROAD
- TOO MANY TO LIST
SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT 5TH BMW. THIS CAR IS A NIGHTMARE STAY AWAY. ENGINE LIGHT ON CONSTANTLY, STALLED 3 TIMES. IN FOR MANY DIFFERENT REASONS BUT THE MAIN ONE HAS BEEN THE CONSTANT BACKFIRE. OH AND LETS NOT FORGET THE MAJOR FLAW IN THE PAINT . DID NOT NOTICE UNTIL WAXING THE CAR. NOTHING WAS DONE BY MASEATI. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIRS AT LEAST 10 TIMES AND MORE THAN 30-45 DAYS. CURRENTLY SEEKING LEMON LAW....read morehide
