I had to get a CUV for work, mainly for fuel economy. Since coming from real trucks I wanted the best xover I could get to make the most of my new chic car. So I researched it and test drove and wound up with my first Mazda. IMO, this thing is a no contest winner to the competition based purely on merit. I love the inside being minimal and not all plastic and gross(like they ripped off a BMW 3 series). The ride is also BMW "like" and connected with firm suspension and steering, and technology package is really awesome minus the #$%$ gps. For the price fully loaded, this thing is crazy good. The engine is ehh, but very adequate and expected for the sick fuel MPG. I am getting a real world 25.8mpg, so plan on that if you don't drive like your 70, which is still great since I am more city than hwy. I don't understand the road noise complaints, maybe there is a difference in the 19's on the GT, but it is a non issue, far from a Lexus, but fine. I was doing 80 today and bluetooth talking on the phone without once thinking of road noise...I have always been a Toyota guy and had some fords, but if this thing stays reliable I would buy another Mazda anyday. Really impressed overall.
