- compact, back up camera, side mirror- blind spot, roomy, sharp cute and fun to drive
- Keyless start-dont put in cup holders or key light will stay on, slanted cup holders in doors

I bought this car brand new and traded my Toyota sienna for this car. I was tired of the mommy mini van look, always had a blind spot, and my kids had outgrown the car seats and strollers so we didn't need the room of a van even though I like the storage and plush seats. Bought this little CX5 2014. It is great on gas, fun to drive with a sunroof, and the keyless start is great. Just be sure to keep your keeps out of pockets or your red key light will stay on. I finally keep the keys in the door arm or purse but don't sit them in the cup holders or under the radio. I love the sensor to cover my blind spot and the back up camera. It doesn't have the pick up and go as a V6 but that's ok cause I don't drive much. My only complaint is the cup holders in the back door are hard to get drinks out of cause they slant. Do miss the plush seats of the Toyota but if you are looking for something to just go short distances in with good gas mil. then this is great. We use it as a family car for the five of us. Great taking the kids to school but I'm not sure how a long trip will be....read morehide

- great fuel economy, fun to drive, great sound system, super AWD system and breaks
- a little low on power, no manual transmission for larger engine and AWD models

Traded in our Jeep Liberty for the CX-5, and we couldn't be happier! We are getting consistently around 27-28mpg in the CX-5, which is a good 10-12mpg better than our Liberty. The interior is very nice and spacious for a small suv, and as Mazda loves to boast, it is very fun to drive. It has a great entertainment system, bluetooth, and sound. It also handles great, and the AWD system works very well in snow. My one complaint is that it is a little low on power, but even that is a minor gripe because the transmission works very well with the motor to keep you in the power band while returning spectacular fuel efficiency for an SUV with AWD. All of this for a $24,000 vehicle makes it a steal!...read morehide
