Purchased As New
I am 63 years old and have purchased many many vehicles in my life. It is my first ever Japanese car. This CX-9, is the ONLY vehicle I have not experienced buyers remorse. I now have 35K miles on it and the interior new car smell and appearance remains. I have the two tone leather interior, it is just beautiful. I did replace the factory Bridgestone 20" tires at 20K miles with the TOYO Proxes and the handling is even better now. They do need to improve the interior noise level. The paint seems to scratch easily. I drive often down to Mexico where everyone seems to drive between 80 and 90MPH on the freeway and this vehicle definitley has the power. It is a rocket for an SUV of this size. Much quicker, in both standing start and high speed passing acceleration, than the CRV, BMW X-5 V8 4.0, the Volvo or the Mercedes. It is equal to the Audi Q, in fit, finish and power.
The local Mazda dealers in Mexico are super. The DVD is geat to keep the brats quiet on long drives. It does seat 7 people comfortably, and has loads of space for my wife's shopping trips. It is a great long distance car.
