- Fuel economy - 25MPG combined, tight U-turn, kids LOVE it
- narrow seats for a fat driver, no "long life" tires, no auto door locks
Purchased As New
Had the car for half a year and driven @ 2K a month. Kids love it more than the Camry (Captain's chairs + plenty of leg room). Excellent maneurability, very logical automatic transmission, though I dislike the fact that once in manual mode, by the traffic light it would switch to 1st and shall stay there till you upshift - my main use for manumatic is to occasionaly pass and, especially, for engine braking when moving downhill through the canyons. Since there are several traffic lights there, it switches to 1st and then revs till I remember to upshift it back to 3rd. Under 260ib derriere driver's seat did develop a squeak (plastic cover around the seat rubs the steel frame). Tires - I would rather had 16" 60-80k mile tires than 17" 30-40K ones (solely due to a odd size). Big peeve of mine - on all "full auto" cars I could program the doors to lock once transmission has been put to Drive. Not this one - no integration whatsoever. Wanna lock it - go lock it with your finger :)
Overall - I still love the car and the value / fuel economy / functionality it offers for the family of four. LOVE that it is a six-seater with 4 COMFORTABLE captain's chairs and not a bench in the second row. Again, Kids MUCH prefer it to Camry, even though it is quieter.
