- Power, mpg's, handling, visability
- Loud, small, bose stereo over needs a real subwoofer
Overall, I l love my MS3. Especially for what it is....a super performing car in terms of power and handling for under $25k. It's basically an affordable car with attitude.
The only negatives are more derived from the fact that I'm used to larger sedans. It's noisier. The exhaust sounds great, but wears on me on the highway. Especially since at 72mph in 6th you're just under 3k rpms. Corners like an ice skater, but transfers lots of road noise and bumps. Again, not really a complaint as I knew this going into it.
Midrange power is amazing. 1st is a bit short, but rowing through gears 2-3-4 are a blast! Many cars are faster in the long run but around town, even the the big boys won't zoom around you....not easily if they even can. 6th gear passing on the highway is effortless. mpg's are good. I"m averaging 20mpg city and at 72-75mph get 30-31mpgs.
Gearbox is bit spongy. Certainly no Honda tranny, but not too vague and the clutch gives great feedback.
HID's and auto wipers are nice touches. The bose sound is average at best, but adding a simply 8-10" sub turns it around completely.
