A wonderful "driver's" car for daily use. It's a great example of why we need more turbo cars in the Sates. Excellent performance when pushed as well as excellent MPG when driven "normal". Not too mention a great value.
Went from a 2006 Maxima to this, but understood the change in ride comfort and sound levels were justified. Any softer suspension and this car would be more than a handful, on the edge of unsafe even. Miss some of the sedan ammenaties, bose stereo definately lacking in hitting any lows and surprised by only a flat floor cargo net option. Center net and corner nets should be standard given the handling capability of this car.
Shop all you want, but nothing compares to it's performance value. Mitsu Ralliart and Subaru WRX have great performance, but boast exaggerated price tags. Cobalt SS has similar performance and FWD, but a Cavalier "sports car"? Mazda has dacades of experience engineering economical performance cars and it shows.
2008.5 model updated seats to suede and leather and has a much nicer interior feel than the earlier model. Avoid the navigation option to afford your very own Civic SI, but with power and performance along with a Flying M badge.
