- quick, light on its feet, superb handling, beautiful dash, great lighting and stereo
- automatic clunks when cold, rattle noises from dash, door cupholders are in the way of left leg
A cheaper version of the Pontiac Solstice. The automatic feels cheap, there are dashboard rattles and initial quality is suspect at best. Still a great bargain but dont expect BMW Z4 service, Porche handling or Solstice driveline power and smoothness. Overall I yearn for the solstice and am stunned by my own decision not to cheap out and save money. I test Drove the Pontiac GXP solstice and made the mistake of going into a Mazda dealer. Their service is garbage, quality is sub par and driveline is inferior. I saved over$6,000 buying the MX-5 and have been sorry ever since.
