Purchased As Used
Bought my 2000 Miata in 2004. It now has 80,000 miles on it. The only money I've spent on it was for new tires and a battery. This car never goes to the shop. Every minute of driving it is a joy. It's the best way to unwind after a lng hot day. Just love it!! I see those misguided owners of Bimmers Z4 and GM Soltice and wonder why they've wasted their money. - A real eye catcher. A real blast to drive. Superb handling. Stick shift is fun.
- Tire repair kit inadequate. Needs something else for highway travel.

Wouldn't part with it for anything. Warm weather the Miata is a blast to drive with the top down. Have to be careful on rainy roads. Down-shifting should be used for that. Snow & ice; leave it parked. Handling is great. Ride is very good for a small car. Hard wax it in the warm weather & make it shine like new. I park it every where with the top down, & it gets looked at a lot. "Hey buddy. Nice car!" I put real good road tires (+ rim locks) on it & bought myself a pair of slick looking (prescription & expensive) sunglasses. I also put custom remote door locks & a entry alarm on it. It can be unlocked with the top down from the inside, but the entry alarm really screams. I have a olive green 2006 touring model. Turns on a dime; a real fast U-turn.
