I owned a 2004 MX-5 and loved it. ( nothing ever broke although tires wear after 25K miles) Last year I updated to a 2012 and love the extra horse power. I am not sure why the MPG lists 21/28 I have never gotten worse than 28MPG and that is a 50/50 mix of city and highway. Usually I get 30MPG. Love the handling...read morehide

For the money you can't beat it. It's not a Boxter..but this roadster is a blast to drive. Specs would lead you to believe it's underpowered, but the weight of this car counters the horsepower nicely. Silver/ with black interior gets lots of thumbs up from the street!

This is the best roaster money can buy.
Properly done, RWD and a double wishbone suspension.
I test drove this at a Mazda dealership, although it wasn't for me.. (it isn't that practical). The driving experience was pronominal. You don't need 200hp+. All you need to do is drive this baby on your favorite canyon road and you will see why, and how this became Mazda's best selling car for years....read morehide

Nice looking car for the money, handles nicely. Wish we had purchased the 6 speed instead of 5 speed. Road noise is annoying and radio very hard to hear unless you're stopped. Bought the car for my wife. Fits her nicely but too small for tall people. She loves the car which is why I bought it. If you're looking for an impressive handling sports car keep looking. For short trips I enjoy this little car more than I did my three Porches in the past. For short errands I prefer it over my M.B. CL550. However, as an only car, the limitations would be noise at extended trips and limited trunk space.

I have the power hard top. This feature makes it so easy to raise and lower the roof. I see people in convertables all the time with the top up because the top can be time consuming to do. The Mx5 top is easy to use, with or with out the power hard top. The most fun to drive car I have ever owened. You can only put two people in it, and a container of Tic-Tacs...and no spare tire.

What can i say, you can't beat perfection!
Ive had this car for a couple months now...what a hot sports car!
I get double and triple looks and great comments where ever i go. It's a thing of beauty even when standing still. I have the appearance Pkg which enhances it even more...front and rear air dams,side skirts,rocker panels & the mud guards are cool too.
