2007 Mazda RX-8

- Unbeatable style,Blk/Blk Touring looks,feels,handles like a race car.
- Burns thru gas like a race car.Am bound to aquire several speeding tickets
Have had no problems with it yet.Check oil every other gas fill.Have lessened travel time by half.Blowing by your ordinary/everyday type car usually necc. most days, either
out of neccesity or just for the fun of it.By pumping gas pedal (auto)initial slow thrust problem stated by some is
solved.Once up cruising speed of 70,80 mph.,a quick spike
to 110 very easy w/this fantastic sports car.Handles turns
at twice the speed of most cars w/ease & negligable body
movement.Have actually been airborne for a split sec!Race
car looks, attitude, handling yet priced much lower than any
competitor and has 4 seats! The most common comments
I've received are "what is it?" & "I want that".Debated the
others in its class yet have any back seats, which give plenty of room for avg. person.Any complaints concerning
roominess,gas guzzling,shift/trans. problems,lack of torque
IMO are the result of ignorance, lack of common sence. The
Bose stereo system, whirr of the rotary engine, tightest
handling car, ease of operation/steering are icing on the cake of a totally unique car.The RX-8 is one of those you
instantly fall for and have to own.Once you do,you'll know
what I'm talking about.Please,no old lady's apply.Used 04's
going for 22k,paid 26k for brand new.plus tax.Buyersmarket...read morehide

- Very fun car to drive every day when you 19 years old
- could have a little smoother ride but handles excelent in tight situations
I bought my 2005 RX 8 and previously owned other mazda makes such as the MX-3 6 cylinder... This car rips other cars like paper when it comes to handling and looks, It is a real head turning machine. please leave comments on this but I am wondering from other owners if yours has a bit of a vibration when you hit 4 grand?? I change the oil every 3000 miles and it only has 17,000 miles on it. I am guessing this is common with Rotory engins but I am not sure please let me know because I have never driven it hard to cause any problems such as this small vibration what do you think?...read morehide

- Rotary angine, Near perfect handling, body stile
- lack of torque, gas millege
I bought this car in early 2007 and It has been nothing but fun.
Power I think is great for such small engine is amazing, that rotary sound is music to my ears.
I just installed both the mazda speed dual exhaust and cold air intake and what a difference, the car now breath better and the car now sounds more deep. At high rpm this car demands respect....read morehide

- Fun to drive
- bad fuel economy
Don't buy Mazda expecting to get good service. First the clutch exploded Mazda rep said this was a normal wear item and refused to pay anything. Second the standard transmission went out again they've refused to pay, this car has about 30k miles on it!!!

- Great looking car, I loved it from the moment I saw it on the lot!
- Fuel economy not good.
Even though this car drinks like an alcoholic, I still love it! Everywhere I go, heads turn and eyes are filled with envy. The space inside is great, I can still get my shopping done with plenty of room left over. It hates anything less than premium gas though, I learned that the hard way, when it the motor started knocking because of the 89 octane gas I put in it once. I traded my hugh SUV in and will never look back....read morehide

- looks great, great price, 4 seats and trunk space, just amazing
- brakes a little squeaky, don't forget to add oil every 3 fill ups a bit of a pain
we car shopped for over a year looking at all the 2 door, 2 seat sports cars...mostly convertibles.
we looked at the Boxster, 350Z, Z4, Solstice, miata etc etc.
the only car that came close to everything we wanted was the RX-8.
the guys that sold us the car were the best salesman because they really believe (and they might be right) that they have the best product. they discounted the car 3K on the spot. we gave them a price we would pay and they got it for us.
the car is amazing in every aspect you would want in a sports car. the only little problem is the squeaky brakes. when you apply the brakes really slow they squeak a little. it might just be the new pads, but we're going to get it checked out anyway.
nothing like it for the price on the market today. the suicide doors, the back seat and the trunk space is icing on the cake....read morehide

- the look, the style, it corners like it's on rails, fast sleek, and sexy
- dunno just yet......gas prices suck....it needs only premium
It is an amazing car....I traded in a HUGE vehicle for this car and I haven't regreted it at all...Though I have to keep filling up on gas..I am in absolute love with it...I have spoken to many RX-7 owners and the loyal ones have never traded in their cars....If they do..it is for an RX-8..The ones who have taken the transitional plung from RX-7 to RX-8 are in complete heaven......
and so am I....read morehide
