2006 Mazda Tribute

- Decent Fuel economy for an SUV, easilly manuverable, fun drive
- Driver seat can be unconfortable, can't fully unwind the passenger windows, supposivelly the wheels
I have the 3.0L V6 Tribute and it is a pretty fun, small vehicle. My issues with it is that it is small, which is a given and its backseats can not fully wind down. This is very fustrating and is a pet peeve of mine. If I would have known this before I purchased the vehicle I would of purchased an '06 Xterra instead. This vehicle looks better than the Xterra in that it looks like a normal SUV, but just smaller; and it has the window door above your boot you can open, but the Xterra has a unique design.
The noise issue have been complained about for a long time and when I was test driving this vehicle in the highway, the noise was not really that much louder than a normal vehicle. I have driven louder Tributes than the one I purchased, but I still may just get better wheels just to see the difference.
Overall I was very excited about the vehicle, but when I found out you can't wind down the windows, that was very very very very annoying. This sole thing could of caused me to purchase a different vehicle, but at the same time we got the vehicle (on a ridiculous killer deal) for over $1500 under the invoice so I can't complain. It is a Mazda, and Nissan's have a much better name but to find a Xterra which actually has a cheaper MSRP of about $1000 at the price I got this Tribute would of been very very unlikely. So overall I guess I will try and manage... I'm not paying for the vehicle =)
