I think C350 and C300 are more reliable and more representing for Mercedes C-class. C250 is more of a look than a car it represents for itself. I like the look of this C250 but the performance from its turbo 1.8L 4cyls is a joke. Sluggish engine and not too responsive if RPM is lower than 2000. So so fuel economy with such a small engine. Turgo lag is noticed a lot. Rough engine with valves taping noise during stop and go. If you have just enough money to buy a base C250, pls consider a new Acura TSX. $34K or less. A C250 with added options could go up to $40K plus, looking at a Infinity G37 instead. I only had 2,500 miles on my C250 so it is hard to criticize its reliability. So far so good its look is gorgeous and so so performance. it is a better than average car.
