- great looking...comfort ride...
- its not a sports car
I also own a C4s, Cayenne turbo, and a Lexus GX 470... this is a touring sedan with the looks of a sports car. It's expensive... but you can't comapre it to the "Bentley"...$170k... or the Porsche... They're very different cars... I'm just lucky enough to drive them all.
Cons: Too much time in the shop for both small and big stuff... If your considering a touring sedan think about a used 500 (03) and spend 50k...and get the warranty... or test drive the new Infiniti M45 sport (50k new) IMHO...read morehide

- Great look, good fuel economy, good ride, nice interior.
- In service over 50 days, not enough of charcters to explain.
Should be test drove before sold to customer with a check list.Just to many repairs for a expensive car.

- Gorgeous car, high tech, fast, what else?!!!
- Terrible ownership experience, Mercedes doesn't stand behind it.

In the first 13 months, the car almost spent 2 months in the shop because the electronic brake system went hey wire and melted the rear brakes and the air suspension system froze!! I had to resort to the Lemmon Law which the company is fighting me on in courts!! (can you imagine?)
If she wasn't so pretty, I would have left it on the dealer's lot!!!
Too bad...I won't buy another Benz....read morehide

- A new bodystyle will be coming out soon!
- Everything Else.
The Cl 500 and Porsche 911 are not in the same class, unless of course you are class-less and don't realize it! The Cl 500 is a hodge-podge poorly executed 2 door s class...if you want to buy a boat, at least buy one with four doors. The new 911 is, on the other hand, the most glorious execution of automotive splendor coming from Stuttgart in over a decade....read morehide

- Handling, speed, looks
Just bought a new CL500. Impressive ride and looks. Well worth the $$$. Porsche does not even come close.
