- Mind-blowing acceleration; roomy back seat. No longer Supercharged.
- Drinks fuel like Kool Aid,
Purchased As Used
This car is a wolf in sheep's sheet metal. It is literally ones of the fastest cars on the road and can speedy by many exotics, including Ferrari's and Lambo's at a fraction of the price. The only weak sport is steering. Lots of oversteer and doesn't have the connection to the road the driver feels with an M3 for example. Ah, well, you can't have everything. There were only 143 of these cars sold in the US in 2007, so most assuredly a future classic....read morehide

- Awesome Engine. Fantastic Brakes. Comfortable Seats. Good looks.
- Ride is on the soft side. Very poor gas mileage (city). Outdated NAV and interior.
This car is all about the engine--all 475 hp. It has a great sound, and accelerates faster than any other 4-seater out there. The exterior looks great, but the interior is a bit lackluster--compare it to the new BMW 3 series, which is much less expensive, and it looks even worse, as the Bimmer has a wonderfully laid out interior.
The CLK AMG drives a bit on the heavy side--It is not light and nimble. You have to manhandle it--if you do it will respond.
The stereo is quite good. The NAV is very outdated. It is slow and cumbersome. No bluetooth on a car in this price range is ridiculous. Also, some of the options should be standard. For example, HID lights are an extra on this car.
The seats are very comfortable. The back seats are actually usable (unlike its main competitors, the Jaguar XK and XKR). The ride is comfortable, but, in my opinion, could be firmed up a bit without losing any comfort. Another thing that would help a lot is if the steering was more responsive--it is a bit numb.
Overall, I really like the car. I'm concerned about how expensive routine maintenance will be, especially considering that I could have had a new 3 series convertible for just over half the price, with better handling and a much more exquisite interior, with bluetooth and a more sophisticated NAV. BUT, and this is a bit BUT, the 3 series convertible has virtually no trunk with the top down, PLUS, it comes only with run-flats, which introduce a host of issues....read morehide

- Handling, power , 7 speed transmission, overall performance
- Gas milage 14 -16 in city, but well worth the cost when compared against the Pros.
Quality worksmanship, black with stone interior looks sharp.Quite solid ride, but step on the gas, roar and whiplash come to mind.Pirelli Rosso are well mated to this car. Trunk is bid small, but it has real rear seats.Better than AMG55.

- Great performance
- Poor fuel economy, Expensive
This is the ideal vehicle for anyone who is seeking a performance vehicle with a habitable backseat. I looked at sportscars like the Porsche 911 and others, but the backseat is worthless. The CLK 63 AMG outperforms its key competitors in this niche, the BMW 6-series and the Jaguar coupe.
